People are making a big mistake by trying to count out some of these indie games. Alongside the PS4 exclusives and 3rd party multiplats the indies can and will give us some very fun and entertaining games to play. I agree. A little bit of a delay to allow Crytek to work on some of those aspects a little more would help it out a lot. As it stands now they don't really have a lot of time left. From the stuff I have seen and read I am definitely getting this on day one. I think as it gets closer to release the buzz will certainly grow.
A Bully 2 would be good. But I think a new Red Dead would be better. Also I wish we could hear whether Agent is still being developed or if it has been cancelled. Interesting note though is Rockstar did renew their trademarks of the Agent brand in July 2013.
Maybe they have a PC version in the works to go along with next gen versions. If they can get it running on PCs it shouldn't be that hard to move it onto Next Gen as well since they are reportedly using x86 architecture.
I can just imagine some of the new game modes they might introduce. Maybe give some people the chance to play as Cops looking for crimes to stop. Would be an interesting way to introduce some PvP? Some playing as Cops others as the robbers. The cops out patrolling get a call to bust up a heist going down or come across a group trying to get away from one. Whichever side wins get the reward.
Agreed. If they do bring out GTAO before another new GTA they could still offer it for free to those who bought GTA V on the 360 and PS4 and move their characters to the new systems as well. Also they could offer it for a cheap price to those who are interested in playing it but maybe didn't buy GTA V.
Well I cannot wait to play it and GTA Online on my PS3. No way would Rockstar miss out on the next gen systems though. Even if they don't bring over GTA V I expect we will see GTA Online at some point in the next year or so on the next gen systems. Then again maybe they will just bring out the full GTA V with some new content and at a discount for anyone who has already bought the game.
This is really cool. I also thought of another approach they could take with GTA Online with an expansion to the world. Give gamers the chance to play as Cops either patrolling the streets looking for stuff going down or to maybe add another layer to the heists. Instead of just going up against the NPCs you could wind up having actual people out to stop you. Another option is to play as a sort of Undercover Cop. They also make another mistake in the article when they call the new character that has been revealed as Fletch. Her actual name is Fetch and she has a neon based ability which Delsin also absorbs.
I don't know if I care whether it comes out for PS4 or not. Right now I am not that impressed by it. I actually like what I have seen and read about Destiny more. Especially the ability to play single player if I chose or even with or against other people too. Sometimes I like being able to go it alone and with Titanfall I just wouldn't really have that choice. Maybe as it gets closer to release my mind might be changed about it but I know next year I will definitely be buying Destiny...
Well I am definitely getting GTA V when that comes out. I also want Beyond Two Souls, Puppeteer, Kingdom Hearts 1.5 HD, Gran Turismo 6, and Ratchet and Clank Into The Nexus. So even though I am getting the PS4 at launch and some great games for that I certainly am not done with my PS3.
I only saw the one time during the gamescom conference and it just switched from the one guy playing on PS4 straight into the PS Vita. It didn't show how he connected it was just connected. Do you have a link to anything that might show it differently?
If Sony did the same type of deals for those games on the PS4 that they have done for other games on PS3 then I doubt any of it is timed. Out of the two games though I am interested in seeing exactly what the extra missions are in Watchdogs I am more excited to find out what the content will be in Destiny.
I do wish Ninja Theory would either work with Sony to finish out the trilogy they had planned or Sony would find a way to make it happen. I loved the first game and I still own it. In fact I recently played through it again a few weeks ago.
Nothing really new here. Just talks about how your smartphone can wake up the PS4 when you buy a game online for it. Then it turns off after it is done downloading it. Also the obvious point that you can't stream one game to the Vita and play a second game on the PS4 at the same time.
What I wish Sony would do is give us a video detailing exactly how we would start the streaming to the vita. Specifically show us how it looks on both systems via the UI.
Well already at launch they have Driveclub and Knack. I think Driveclub is trying to do some new things. I personally am looking forward to Knack. I know that their are those who don't care for that type of game though. We also have The Order 1886 coming out next year from Ready At Dawn. That is also a new IP that will hopefully be a lot of fun and do well. With the PS4 I am seriously considering going mostly digital. I like the idea of being able to access my digital library on the Vita via remote play even if I'm not home. Would help some nights at work go by faster. lol
You really don't need more than that. For games like Playstation All Stars you can play up to 4 on screen at once. Anymore than that and it would be way too hectic.
