I never said I had an issue with Digital. I said some people will have an issue. I for one am debating whether I want to go mostly digital so that it will be easier to access my games from anywhere or if I still want to collect physical and have them on my shelves. One thing that may sway me is how easy would it be to access remote play on the Vita between digital titles and physical. I expect with physical you will need that disc in the system. But maybe with digital you will be able to boot...

The only downside I see for some people is that you have to buy the game on PS4 as a digital copy. Still the fact that the price is so low and that DLC and Season Pass will carry over for no additional cost could get people to go that route. Also I expect you will be able to keep your PS3 copy and continue to play it as well. That will be good for people like myself who have friends I game with on PS3 that may not be getting a PS4 at launch. Can still game with them and also game with those w...

This is one game I am looking forward to playing with my PS4. I have the Knack bundle on pre order from Amazon. One of my favorite genres are the 3d platformers so I should have fun with this. Also it should be something that my kids will enjoy as well. They aren't really old enough to play Watch Dogs, AC4, and Killzone Shadowfall.

I don't really care what they come out with next. Knowing ND it will be a high quality title anyway. I would certainly like a new adventure with Uncharted 4, but I also want to see something entirely new from them as well. Obviously too soon for another The Last Of Us, besides they have announced DLC for TLOU and I am hoping for some SP DLC that extends some of the other characters stories.

It looks pretty good to me. Seems like a cross between the Store interface and the XMB. Also I love that you can actually see a live stream of your friend's playing before you even join the game. Next gen is going to be a very interesting time and what we are seeing now is only scratching the surface of where things can go.

This is definitely on my must buy list for this year. It is good to see this R&C game going back to what made the others so good.

I for one liked the conference. I also like the looks of a lot of games they did announce. Also why are people questioning Sony so much about games. Have you all forgotten how well Sony supports each of the consoles with games over the entire lifespan? Anything that they could have shown from the likes of ND, MM, and SSM would't even be coming out until next year or sometime in 2015. At least we get confirmation that they are working on something. We have quite a few good games to play at...

Hooking up your cable box to the XBOX One to be able to control it through the XBOX One does nothing for phones or computers. it only works through the XBOX One. Besides more and more cable companies are already allowing people to watch their TV Channels on the PC or through their phones and tablets without adding Microsoft and the XBOX One in the mix.

No this is not for PS4 only owners. This is for people who own or buy Bravia TVs, Vaio PCs, Sony Blu Ray players and any other products Sony makes that can do internet streaming. This is why it is huge for Sony. When they get more content providers they could seriously challenge the cable companies because this is who Sony is going after with this deal. This isn't strictly for the PS4 or even to counter what MS is doing with the XBOX One. Microsoft's deal on the other hand really will...

@Machiavellian

No this really is more forward thinking. This service won't be just for the Playstation systems Sony has. This is also for streaming this content directly to one of their Bravia TVs, Vaio PC's, Blu Ray players and other products they produce. They are also working on getting content from other companies besides Viacom and are looking to essentially cut out the middle man (Cable Companies). Essentially what this could do is give people the option of only...

The reason why some people want to get rid of cable is because they only really want a few channels but right now have to pay for hundreds they might not even watch. People want a choice. Sony and other companies are trying to give people a way to do this. Also this isn't just for the Playstation systems. Sony plans on bringing this to their TVs and other products as well. Also it really wouldn't be anymore of a strain on the PS4 to stream TV over the Internet. It certainly isn't ...

Most likely it will have a fee associated. But if Sony has enough content providers giving them access then it should allow people the choice of what content they want to watch and only pay for the shows or channels they want. Not one price for all like channels like cable companies do now. Also this isn't just for the Playstation brand. Sony is looking to put this on their TVs and other products as well. This is trying to compete with other companies looking to start TV internet streamin...

This is good for Sony as a whole. They won't be limited to just using this on the playstation brand but instead can use it on all the products they put out. Also people could really use this as a replacement for cable companies.

Sony is looking to essentially cut out the cable companies as the middle man and are instead looking to the content providers to give them access to their content. This could really make cable companies rethink how they run their services and hope...

Europe, NZ, and AUS only. Unfortunately it never came out here in the States.

This isn't just for the Playstation side of Sony. Also Sony had a version of the PS2 out in Japan with a built in DVR that could record and stream people's TV Shows. Their Play TV app has also been doing the same thing in some markets on the PS3. But again this isn't just for their Playstation sytems. They will use this for their TVs, Blu Ray players, and other products they make. This could work out beautifully for Sony as a whole.

Also using Xfinitiy and Verizon...

Agreed. They could in fact go head to head against cable companies with this. It isn't just for their Playstation products, but for all their products. integrate it into their TVs, Blu Ray Players, etc. I guess they are truly following through with their plans of fully integrating all aspects of Sony. They started the change when PSN became SEN (Sony Entertainment Network). It has been rather slow to get going but I have liked how I could buy games on the SEN Store through my PC and have ...

That is truly impressive

4693d ago 9 agree1 disagreeView comment

That is the whole point of exclusives. They are made to help sell the platform they are on. They also generally help show the strengths of the platform they were designed for. If it weren't for exclusives then one company would pretty much have full access to how we game and going by what Microsoft had tried to do that would be a very bad thing.

It isn't a live announcement. Just Rockstar releasing videos on their website and most likely also on youtube.

We will get some seriously insane games form them I am sure. I would like another Red Dead game or maybe we will get another GTA game like San Andreas where it has more than one city again. I still cannot wait for GTA V but knowing the power they will have to work with next gen has me very excited.
