I no longer play WoW but I know a load of people who do or did until recently. Almost every single person I know that used to play WoW and is now playing Age of Conan can be summed up in a single quote.
"It something to do until Wrath of the Lich King comes out"
Age of Conan is a long, long, long way from even being as good as WoW was before Blizzard mucked it up with Burning Crusade.
One of the main reasons behind Microsoft trying to snap up JRPG as much as possible is to suppress the sales of the PS3 in Japan.
If you don't like the new way to new Diablo game looks, then don't buy it.
Cry me a river, then build me a bridge and get over it.
Don't sweat it too much 360 owners, it's not that big of a deal.
At least they try to be clever with their hype.
Microsoft is trying to convince us that Vista really isn't that bad by taking people somewhere and letting them use an OS they call "Mojave" or something then when people say they like it the person is told it's actually Vista.
In other words Microsoft gets to perform an experiment they have total control over. They basically have Vista on a machine totally optimized and tricked out to look impressive, just like they would have for a public presentation to the press... ...
Korean MMOs follow a pattern of having fantastic graphics, amazing animation, highly detailed monsters...
And a dull mind numbing grind for gameplay.
I sense a great disturbance in the N4G... As if a million voices cried out in horror and were suddenly... Replaced by a million more.
How about you license out your MK characters to the creators of Street Fighter, Virtua Fighter, or Tekken and let THEM make them game since they... You know... have a much much much better track record of creating high quality fighting games.
It's fine to talk about a FF7 remake when there are serious rumors but simply bringing it up for the sake of bringing it up?
This is somebody speculating on speculative speculation.
If I tell you something is going to be in a game but then I tell you that I later decided not to put it in, that is a cut and by no means is is it "skewed logic" to think so. In order to qualify as being "cut" in your book, apparently something needs to be put IN the game and then removed... That's not how it works and if you were not so hung up on this game you'd realize that.
There is nothing illogical about what I've said nor does it contain any misinformat...
Warhammer Online supporters proclaim that things weren't "cut" because they were never actually in the game.
That's not how it works.
You cannot make promises for months about a game containing certain features then turn around and proclaim those features weren't "Cut" simply because they never made it in. That's the very definition of being "cut".
The game that is coming out on Sept 23rd should be called Warhammer Online: A...
So, why choose metacritic? Because it gives you the results you like?
No, the 360 won't beat the PS3 in software sales 'for years'.
Microsoft's actions and not the merits of their console might. Throwing money at developers to prevent games from being released on the PS3 more so than to secure exclusives for the 360 hardly makes the software sales of your console worth screeching about.
How about this instead: We'll have Sony and Microsoft simply release their consoles and let consumers, game makers, and the market decide. No more buy...
It's July, not April, so whoever started this rumor is either late or really really really early.
So it's better looking on the PS3? Does it play better... Because that's what actually matters.
Quit looking for stupid inconsequential differences between various versions.
Nobody hates a delay more than the company producing a game.
Ask yourself why games from America were sold under a sign titled "Western Dog S***" for months in one Japanese store without anyone really having a problem with it.
Once you have basically accepted how that reality came in to being... No, I mean once you accept how that reality REALLY came in to being... You will understand why the 360 doesn't do well in Japan.
Does Microsoft look at something successful and attempt to emulate it? Of course they do. They've only been at it for just about as long as they've been making software, why should their console be any different?
You constantly hear reports about PC gaming dying.
After years of having their games stolen is it really any surprise?
