I like how people keep going on about how ignorant and/or under informed somebody else is all while demonstrating how ignorant and/or under informed they themselves are.
If you support Obama, that's perfectly fine but at least attempt to show some semblance of objectivity and tact rather that just shooting off at the mouth about things you don't know anything about. This is no different than one console manufacturer releasing a press statement and then watching owners of another ...
And thus people who want to steal games get closer and closer to being able to do so.
And yes, the only reason this is being done is so that people can steal games, anything else anyone tells you is just an excuse.
"1- The information wants to/free anarchists think copyright shouldn't exist."
This is total crap and is romanticizing it for the purpose of making people feel better about themselves for stealing. What do you do for a living? How would you feel if somebody told you that whatever you do should be 'free'? It doesn't work so well now does it? If you work, think about how you would feel if somebody came along and said that the fruits of your labor should be freely given aw...
If there's anything I hate it's articles whose only purpose is to get page hits for the website that hosts them.
This is one such article.
This is no better than somebody snapping up URLs that are the same but end in .net instead of .com or are common typos. It's the same as people who put a bunch of crap in the coding of their web pages so that you can search for 5000 different things and get the same page.
There seems to be a list of 25 reasons a casual gamer is annoyed by hard core gamers. I see no list of why non-gamers are annoyed by gamers.
Non gamers don't play games.
I never quite understood what the "problem" was with Diablo 3 to begin with. When I first started seeing the whining... No, not" the complaints"... the WHINING.... about how it looked I wasn't even sure what people were talking about at first so I went back and watched the video footage that was available, saw nothing wrong, and then after a day or two finally figured out what the whiners were going on about.
Then when I found out there was a petition over thi...
Microsoft's plan to suppress the sales of the PS3 in Japan by throwing money at JRPG developers seems to be working pretty well.
If the 360 were a computer or a computer part it would have been yanked from shelves utterly and totally, roundly demonized by everyone in the entire industry, and taken years to recover any sort of reputation it once had.
There is no excuse, now or ever, for a failure rate on a piece of electronics even remotely approaching what the 360 saw.
So according to this pearl of wisdom, the N64 was the best console ever and the Wii is, at least so far, the worst?
Sorry, but no, the N64 was largely crap and I feel not the least bit ashamed in saying that at least half or more of the games that got RAVE reviews on the 64 were not that great and were, in fact, based in large part on the ramblings of a few sad and angry people who wanted to believe in Nintendo because they had romantic notions about them based on previous experi...
I personally would like to see Mythic shoved in an oven and left to burn slowly over the course of several hours and so this is how you know I have to be telling the truth...
I'm defending them.
Over its 25 year history Warhammer basically has so much content that you really have to cherry pick what you put in when you decide to make a game based on it.
Nice Mug Shots.
What? You knew somebody would say it.
Is this the real reason that they beat you over the head to do pre-orders?
12- Marcus Fenix - No, we don't need any more sci fi characters that look, feel, and play totally out of place in Soul Calibur. We already have 3 we don't need: Vader, Yoda, and Apprentice.
11- Toxie - See above.
10- Ico - Might not be too bad for the novelty of it.
9- Dante - Take away his guns and transformation abilities, sure, he'd be an "okay" fit but he's too modern.
8- Simon Belmont - He'd fit just fine, particularly with al...
This is the same video we saw a couple of weeks ago.
As with most NCSoft/Korean MMOs, the graphics look fantastic, the animation is wonderful, the world rich and vibrant but how will it play? Because the track record with Korean based MMOs is that they look wonderful and don't play particularly well... Being an even more tedious grind fest than other MMOs.
It's too early to tell right now but I think this is a step in the right direction for MMOs if, and ONLY if, it'...
Well, as a PS3 owner it would be silly of me to even suggest that I wouldn't want the 'best' version of any given game but I hardly feel that DLC is really the end all be all when it comes to deciding 'best' version.
All DLC really amounts to in most instances is an excuse to sell you something else.
...And now is not that time.
Not only will I be more than happy to let the 360 have Vader, I'll let them keep him, and Apprentice, and the Star wars themed stages. In exchange I want a guest character with stages and music that make sense in a Soul Calibur game.
Well, at the rate Fallout 3 came to us I suppose I should look forward to buying Fallout 4 with my Social Security check.
It's easy to live up to expectations when you're making ANOTHER bloody World War 2 shooter that we've all played to death already in one form or another.
There needs to be a 2-5 year moratorium on WW2 FPS games.
Warhammer is not the "WoW" killer. In order to be a "WoW" killer, you're going to have to do a little better than game play and game mechanics that were not new when Warcraft was released in 2004.
In order to really understand what I mean. Imagine if a company were to release a new game that played and felt almost exactly the same as a game from 4 years ago. No grand improvements on the style, no revolutionary changes to game play mechanics, just some updated ...
