The "You can't take a joke" counter, yes, definitely didn't see that coming a mile away.
I can take a joke, when it's actually funny.
The degradation and objectification of women is not now nor has it ever been funny. Would it be funny if we were degrading or objectifying members of a certain ethnic groups? How about if we decided it'd be cute if we did it to people based on their religion or sexual orientation?
As I said, when complaints crop ...
If you don't like the new art direction for D3, then don't buy it.
Cry us a river, then build us a bridge and get over it.
Mocking grammar or spelling... The last vestige of the person with no counter argument.
Not that the disagrees, neg reps, and such were unexpected. Nothing annoys people quite so much as having something they don't like pointed out.
This article is stupid and we are all stupider for having it brought to our attention.
When somebody passively suggests that maybe the gaming industry, including game makers, game news sites, and gamers in general are perhaps a little sexist... You have 5000 idiots ready to line up and either denounce the idea or just make snickering stupid jokes about it.
This article is not funny even in the slightest.
Snake will not be the main character in MGS5 because MGS4 was it for him. Give a man a break, he just can't do it anymore. Raiden will not be the main character in MGS5 because... Well, beat the game first and pay attention to the conversation he had with Rose. At the end of MGS4 you are literally out of people sufficiently skilled enough to be a Solid Snake stand in.
You're either going to have to have a prequel that involves Big Boss or Raiden. I've heard the whole "Gray F...
It's good to hear that Blizzard isn't listening to the tiny but very vocal minority that wants PK'ing in the game.
No matter how many times I see it, I still hate the way it looks. Going back and trying to recreate a 3D version of SF2 using the now ancient art style from the 2D character portraits was a bad idea.
What do you suppose happens when millions more people are hooking in to World of Warcraft with XP rather than Vista? Blizzard isn't spying on you but it probably does get data on which OS you're using and game companies like to get their hands on as many DXconfig.txt files as they can, Blizzard included.
What a stupid question.
They're calling the PS3 an 'unfinished' product essentially because it lacked many features people "wanted" and now 19 months later they are finally ready to call it a finished product? In case they hadn't noticed, the PS3 is a game console and Blu Ray movie player and since it has done both right out of the box it was ALWAYS a finished product.
Aside from that I absolutely promise you that the people that want these features ever so...
They're just doing this for page hits. What a bunch of retards.
Blizzard keeps it's "initial projected" release dates about as often as a drunk keeps 20 dollars in an ABC store.
How can you be smart enough to hack in to a secure server and dumb enough to be so blatantly obvious that you get caught that easily?
Getting big boss ranking requires quite a bit of dedication to the game.
I've been looking at Street Fighter IV, and I haven't been impressed. I've repeatedly called it "Street Fighter 2.5: Nothing new Edition" and gone on to say that if they want to make SFIV, and make it 3D, they should make a totally new game and not try to remake a game from the "glory days" of the series.
On the other hand the very concept of MK vs DC is so stupid and the characters involved so out of place compared to one another that you just sort of want to...
I recall the developers of God of War all but admitting they had played a fair number of action adventure games during the development of God of War. It let's you get a feel for what works and what doesn't.
Konami was very strict about revealing anything at all about the game because they knew perfectly well that various gaming news websites would blow everything from start to finish just to get traffic on their sites. When Konami said "No", they started whining and continue to whine about the fact that Konami must be "hiding" something.
No, they're not hiding anything. It has nothing to do with Konami not wanting to "hide" anything and everything to do...
So one of the very few places that gave MGS4 less than 90% is also one of the few places that thinks NGII is better? They're also one of the places that gave Halo 3 a perfect score, but not Call of Duty 4 nor Bioshock. They also think NGII is superior to DMC4 and God of War 2 which they gave a paltry 70% back in April of 2007.
So here's what we gleam from this.
Edge magazine just wants to be dropped in the middle of a twitchy fast paced blood and gore fest because al...
That's an interesting way to describe how Microsoft does business.
Long before Microsft ever made a console it established itself as a company that just used money to bully, bribe, and buy out anyone who might actually offer a competing product. The result of this is a basic monopoly on the operating systems market and this is when you get things like Windows Vista, that in spite of its flaws and problems... Is FORCED on people.
The console market has been no differe...
What's that? You don't want to make a game like Metal Gear Solid 4?
That's good to hear.
I'd hate for you to live your life in pursuit of a goal you could never achieve on your best day.
The small number of people having problems with 2.40 is hardly going to be enough to put any nails in any coffins. If the 360 managed to shrug off its initial problems then something this comparatively minor shouldn't mean that much in the long run.
Honestly, people do not give the 360 or the PS3 enough credit and they seem ready to write them both off at even the slightest hint of trouble.
