You haven't shown us what Capcom has in store for us in 2009?
How about rehashes of the same games over and over again with ever increasingly large numbers tacked on the end of them and nothing new or innovative?
Yes, we do indeed know what Capcom has in store for us in 2009.
Is there bias in the gaming media, particularly against the PS3 and Sony in general?
Yes. Period. This is not even open to discussion.
So Microsoft won't run over with huge stacks of cash to convince the game makers to go mutliplatform as they did with GTA4?
Considering it reached mile stones months ahead of the 360 and was outselling it before the bargain bin pricing of the 360 turned that trend around?
There will likely be a price reduction in the PS3 shortly, sometime in the spring or summer next year I'd say and unlike the 360 price reduction it will have actually been preceded by something that should reduce the cost of a console... Such as reduction in the production cost... Instead of, you know, 'We're getting outsold'.
Please direct me to the website with the Talking Point because I seriously doubt not one, not two, not three, but four people have now made the "When Sony reduces prices its strategic".
Let me guess, somebody somewhere found one article about Sony and how a price reduction by Sony was 'strategic' and slapped it up with some Pro-360 statements or something? There's a word for people like this and we can't use it here in the Gamer Zone.
It is a fact, an absol...
I'm occasionally inclined to believe in God completely until I see he created people like you, and then I go back to questioning the whole thing again...
But then again Jack did get disbarred completely, so maybe there is a God and he's trying to give old Jack a hint.
The best thing you could do would be to wonder why you didn't cancel your account months ago and then rectify the situation immediately, uninstall WoW and go warm up your console game system of choice.
What ever happened to making money by making and then patenting a product? Is the new way to do things to patent something that is already in wide use then sit on it and spring the lawsuit?
That's a rhetorical question.
If there's one thing that's going to destroy video games it's that companies release games that are absolute crap but sell well because they have a comic book character, wrestler, or cartoon character on the front of them while other companies make games that are great that don't sell well for being something completely new.
The 360 was getting rofflestomped until they hit bargain bin pricing with their console, I would hardly start running around screaming the successes of a product that had to dramatically slash its prices after being outsold for months in order to "win".
I always like when somebody tells this story and leaves out huge chunks of information because it doesn't fit with the whole "Thank Nintendo for the Playstation" bit. It's as if when people know the whole story they don't quite feel as keen on "thanking" Nintendo.
First of all a brief history lesson, did anyone notice how fast companies that previously made games for Nintendo were to abandon them for Sony? That would be because back in the day both Nintendo an...
Was it another year for the Wii? I suppose so.
Because if it wasn't the 'year of the PS3' it sure as heck wasn't 'year of the 360' since they were getting rofflestomped until they did a huge price reduction.
The people who wrote this article are blind morons if they can't figure out for themselves why there is "hate" for anything exclusive to the PS3. It's the "in" thing now for gaming media websites that want page hits to hate on anything and everything Sony.
There is little if any objectivity in the gaming media.
I'm starting to wonder about this whole 'LittleBigPlanet sales were bad' bit... If the sales of the game were that bad it would be self evident and since the game has reached over the million mark now the fact that they keep writing stories like this is starting to make me wonder if it's the lie they want to repeat often enough so that people believe it.
Where's the claims about how poorly Fallout 3 sold? Oh wait, not a PS3 exclusive? Well that explains that then.
A...
As usual the anti-Sony game press is trying to generate a few more page hits for their advertisers by rushing to declare anything and everything Sony does a screw up or a failure.
If Microsoft knows one thing, it's software that looks and/or feels like something that somebody else created several years ago.
You know, like most of their operating systems.
Queue biased gaming news site looking for page hits to start declaring White Knight a failure in 3...2..1...
Quick, Sony is doing something... Whatever it is, we must rush to declare it a failure that will not help them. In this competitive game news market we can generate a few hundred hits for our page and show them to our advertisers by bad mouthing Sony... It's the "in" thing, so we have to be the first to declare something related to Sony a screw up or a failure.
With a year head start and an unforgivably bad failure rate I would hardly boast about the 360 'beating' anyone, particularly when the PS3 reached milestones faster and was outselling the 360 handily before it dropped to bargain bin pricing for no other reason than the fact that it was being out sold.
