? Xbox is more popular in the UK than everywhere else in the world except the US. US distribution will probably be similar, but everywhere else will be more like 8-10 to 1 (particularly factoring in Japan).
Yes. The first one would have done much better on PS4. But once you start a game on one platform and exclude others, you can't expect them to immediately jump on board with a sequel. Look at how poorly MGS5 sold on Xbox One if you don't believe me.
Although your reasoning seems to stem from you being an Xbox fanboy, I actually agree with you. When you ignore a platform with the initial game or games in a series, you may as well double down with exclusivity in later...
You'd think after the first change you'd have picked a good permanent name so you wouldn't want to do it again.
Why would you do that?
Getting the email took me back to the days of arguing with everyone at school that Resistance: Fall of Man was better than Gears of War. Good times.
Why wouldn't you just buy it on Steam?
I think the solution is for people to get over it.
I guess rookie got bored with Recore.
A comment without an irrelevant statement about someone being a millenial? I'm proud of you.
Well, they say this now, but there will probably be 3-4 new engines to compare cryengine to when Star Citizen actually releases in 4 years.
Let's just think about the console SolidDuck plays and consider his comment in context. Hint: it's not made by Nintendo or Sony.
Can they though? Consumers aren't as stupid as you seem to think they are. MGS5 may have sold 5ish million copies, but just tacking the words Metal Gear on another game won't prevent fans from seeing previews of the game and understanding it isn't real MGS. They'll be lucky to get a few hundred thousand in sales based on the name, but they'll further alienate millions.
You've just shown your ignorance on the matter. MGS fans complained about the Acid games until we got real portable MGS games (Portable Ops and then Peace Walker). And Rising got ripped when announced and ignored when released. MGS fans don't consider it part of the series.
Yeah, I'm embarrassed for the person who wrote this.
"No Scorpio exclusives" - Aaron Greenberg.
I thought you were trying to pretend not to be a fanboy now to establish some sort of false credibility? Guess that's over.
... in the United States.
I wish someone would create a database with all of Rookie's aliases. It's getting hard to keep track.
...but it will be held back by the Xbox One's specs, so it won't matter. Iterative consoles are stupid. Give me a true next gen that isn't going to share a library with (and thus be held back by) the previous gen.
This is a good way of thinking. Don't know how you missed them, but you need to play 1-3 to appreciate 4. But instead of trying to get PS4 without 4, you should get the Nathan Drake Collection so you can play them.
