This is my single biggest gripe with the Vita. It lacks games that are really unique to the hardware. Tearaway is probably the best example of the type of game that is leveraging the hardware.

Sony and devs have always approached the Vita as a PS3-lite for some reason, just as they approached the PSP as a PS2-lite.

It's annoying as it's an awesome device - but just doesn't seem to have found an identity.

What I want to see...

Announcement that PSNow beta is going global (or at least UK :) ) after E3
Confirmation that The Last Guardian is now a PS4 title (and will release holiday 2015)
A short demo of Morpheus, and a release date / price
All titles that have already been announced get new in-game footage (Uncharted 4 is a must)
A lot of new announcements, with trailers or at least teasers (and at least one JRPG)
Some more love for Indie ...

I think we could have waited another 12 months. TLoU confirms there was still untapped power in the PS3, and I'm sure it would be the same with the 360.

The games released so far for next-gen have been graphically superior, but added little to game play from last gen - maybe another year of development would have seen more innovative game play, AI etc

Another year of development for the next-gen firmware /drivers / software / services would have been wel...

When I first played the game I thought that too. But after a while they actually become tactically important.

At the start of the match if you're not hunting down Grunts or Spectres to reduce the Titan cool down you're doing it wrong. Plus adding a few extra points to an Attrition total can be important in a close match.

However I would like to see a game mode that does not include them - just for a change.

15!?!

OK, so I take back 'more maps', and change it to... 'More variety of maps'. I swear I only ever see the same 5 over and over again

I've been playing this a lot on PC. It has some really good core game play, but needs a lot of improvements in other areas...

Matchmaking sucks
No voting on maps
Not enough game modes / types
Loading times could be improved
A much better campaign mode
Burn Cards need sorting out
More maps

If it comes to PS4, that'd be great for those who want to play it, but I don't think it's a huge loss if it ...

Yup, hypocrisy on both sides.

I just think Insomniac got it hardest over the years.

I thought Sony just confirmed they've changed policy on this? So if you buy the PS+ upgrade you get to keep it even if you cancel your account.

Why the hell care which looks better.

I'm happy I get to play DriveClub, Project Cars and Gran Turismo on one console! Fingers crossed they all properly support my Logitech G27.

And I'll be even more happy when I get to pick up an XB1 and whatever version of Forza they are on at that time.

I love sim racers, arcade racers and everything in between; and it seems the consoles are loading up on quality racing games this gen.

It's simple... Too many wannabe journalists and not enough news to go round.

Look at the number of posts on N4G in any day - how many are really news, and how many are just pointless rubbish, or rehashings of actual news.

Comparing Sunset Overdrive to inFamous doesn't surprise.

What surprises me a little is how the Xbox fanboys can keep a straight face with all their outpouring of love for Insomniac. After all the years of deriding the developer for producing brightly coloured kiddie games and mediocre shooters on the PlayStation. Oh the fickle nature of the fanboy!

Yeah, I bought a PS4 Day 1, and extolled it's virtues to friends. But now those friends who haven't bought either next-gen console are definitely starting to sway toward XB1.

They don't care about E3; all they care about is what they can buy right now. And the XB1 does have more to offer your average gamer.

I'll be picking up an XB1 at some point, but I also know Sony are going to unleash the hounds at E3.

Yeah, as much as I would love to see all that at E3, I doubt we'll see it all.

But if Sony really want to maintain momentum, then maybe they are going big with this E3... Especially as last years was a bit weak for games, and since launch the PS4 has lacked games.

Diablo 3 was terrible. The 2.0 patch transformed the game for me. It transformed it from a money grabbing, broken, bore-fest, in to a really fun loot-em-up. It may not hit the heights of D2, but it is still solid and fun.

I thought Reaper of Souls was overpriced for what it offered and overall my trust in Blizz has been knocked because of the whole D3 debacle. I will be much more wary of buying their games in future.

For me the KickStarter / Steam Greenlight bubble has burst.

Too many games are now taking advantage of both these platforms to enable people with a lack of experience to try their hand at producing games. In the vast majority of cases poor planning and underestimating effort required causes projects to stall or fail. In the worst cases devs are scamming / profiteering from people who have trusted them.

Sure we've had success... Star Citizen (although, wh...

If MS show a bunch of old Rare IP remade by talented teams - I'll walk straight out and buy an XB1 the next day.

Jet Force Gemini. BlastCorps. BanjoKazooie. Kameo. Viva Pinata.

Any two or three of those shown at E3, and I'm in.

If this is the case I'll try the free version on PS+ and if I like it buy the retail version.

It does seem like an odd strategy for Sony to do it this way.

This article is pretty poor. Basing the whole 'developers suffer' stance on one persons experience is not conclusive.

Many developers on iOS have showed evidence that reducing the price of their title causes massive sales.

The problem with the opinion of Jason Rohrer is that he complains he only sells things during Steam Sales... Well there's a couple of reasons for this, and they have nothing to do with Steam Sales robbing him of full price sale...

This article is based on far too much speculation and unknown information.

Bungie should not dilute the experience with a dedicated single player campaign. They have already stated the first few chapters / levels are going to be mainly solo to introduce players. If it turns out the whole of the campaign can be done solo, then why bother with something offline.

Destiny seems to be a much more immersive and organic experience than turning the game on and choo...
