I would very much like to see an off-shoot series that had the core mechanics of GoW, but set in other mythologies.

Do you think an experience can be truly 'next-gen' when it's also being developed for older tech (360 in this case)?
To me 'next gen' is more than just better graphics, textures, polygons - it is doing things in a game that were not possible on the previous generation of hardware.
Don't get me wrong, Forza 2 looks like it'll be a great game, but surely the limitations of the 360...

Yep, this is the game that got me to buy a WiiU.
Also got Super Mario Bros as the free game (was a close decision between that and Wonderful 101, Pikmin 3 or Monster Hunter)
Also Super Mario 3D World is a very good entry in the series.
ZombiU is extremely under-rated. So far it has shown the best use of GamePad. really immersive and atmospheric.

PSNow is revolutionary because it means we could be seeing the end of the console arms race - where more power is required each gen. Eventually MS / Sony might start launching low spec consoles that are effectively streaming boxes. It won't be this gen, or next - but it's coming and PSNow is the start of that.
As for what it offers and at what price... We wait and see. Just viewing it as a cynical attempt for Sony to make us pa...

The only thing MS have done for PC gaming is inflict GfWL on us! And no one asked for that!
The only way MS can benefit PC gaming is by releasing XB1 games on PC too - but I suspect they won't do that for many (or any) AAA titles because that eats in to the unique selling point of the XB1 hardware.

Both RaD and Sucker Punch are pretty much 2nd party devs now; which generally means that Sony bankrolls a portion of the costs for the games they produce.
If this means the studio needs to expand or improve, then they may be able to do this using Sony's money - especially if they have entered in to some sort of long term agreement for a series of games.

I love Sci-Fi, I love Ratchet and Clank style graphics, I love MMORPG's... but after trying the beta, this is a dud. Sooo boring and generic. and I really wanted to love this game.

I've taken the day off work on the 10th. Will be watching the MS conference from around 17:00, then pushing through EA, Ubisoft and Sony. Sucks to be in the UK for E3, but I have high hopes this will be the best in years. :)
Seems fairly balanced.
The AI in 150cc seems pretty much hell-bent on killing me. Have lost a few races on the final turn because of Blue Shell - but it's part of the game.
Sure it's frustrating to go from 1st to 9th because of Blue Shell, Red Shell, Some other form of evil, knocking the crap out of me.... But the game is still awesome.
One thing I would like to see tweaked a little is the drop rates of different items when leading....

It is a pretty awesome machine. Mario Kart 8 and Super Mario 3D World alone are worth the console purchase.
ZombiU was also far better than I expected, and for £6.00 it is a bargain! It's by far the best use of Game Pad.
Super Mario Bros U is pretty decent.

I would say Morpheus and PSNow are both revolutionary for a console... Or at the very least innovative. None of the competition is as far ahead on this.
I would say that the PS4 is a refinement and distillation of all the Sony / Playstation knowledge and know-how.
After having a few hours on an XB1 over the weekend, I can definitely see the razer sharp gaming focus of the PS4 a lot more.
A track editor would have been awesome in MK8, I'd have also settled for procedurally generated tracks that could be saved for future races.
Nice to see some alternatives for other platforms, but I've never played a Kart game that can match the feel of MK!
