Why should Valve invalidate the results???
Because the greater internet community came together and decided that rather than allowing a few rich people to buy tokens to get in to the team that was wining, and ensure that they won every time, instead they coordinate a response to make sure everyone wins?
Seems the absolute definition of fairness to me.
The community have taken a broken thing, and made the best of it.
If the co...
People... Check Reddit.
There's a huge community effort going on to ensure that each team will win twice during the Summer Adventure.
That's why there's such an imbalance. People from each team are saving their cards etc and only crafting stuff on specific days.
I agree that this isn't Steam's best Sale activity - but it is not rigged.
Check Reddit and see when 'your' day is due. It's actuall...
As a recipient of many a cruel finish line losses - this still makes me laugh
All the Dead Rising games are great fun if you can overlook the occasional clunkiness of the controls.
DR3 really refines the game play for the better. It's a good fun game, especially co-op - but DR1 is still my favourite because of the theme, setting and characters.
I'm hopeful it'll appear in the Steam Summer Sale...
If it does I doubt it'll get a big discount (maybe 15-20% realistically, and 30% if we're lucky).
I won't buy unless I can get the game for at least 50-70% off at some point in the future
There were some awesome games on N64.
I would add Blast Corps as one of my personal faves. That game is ripe for a sequel using the power of modern consoles - the level of destruction would be crazy!
Fingers crossed at the very least the original is put on the eShop - but I'm not sure who the rights sit with (Rare/MS or Nintendo)
Sony did exactly as they have for the last few years... Strong opening, some waffle in the middle that kills momentum, and a strong end.
The Interesting point about the whole 'Games Games Games' thing from Microsoft... Is if you count up the total games shown by MS and Sony, they were just about equal.
For goodness sake. How about some titles / articles about the awesome features the game has.
All this resolution chatter is tiring non-news for clicks. We've know PS2 was going to be 1080/60 for ages.
ZombiU is one of the most underrated games I've ever played.
It is awesome.
The use of the Gamepad elevates this game massively. I've not played something as immersive as this for a long time.
Very impressed, and a sequel to address some of the problems with the original would have been hugely welcome.
Oh no... Not again
<wallet cries>
If it were easy why aren't we all sat on $4million just to play games and make videos!
Good for him. I'm not a fan, and personally find him irritating - but well done sir.
There's a lot of people who would give their left nut to be in his position.
The reporting of news changes in every field. Mainstream world news has morphed from getting reporters on to the scene to using phone camera footage from the public..
The rise of YouTube and Twitch shows people want to consume their info in different ways. Most will use a combination. I certainly use N4G :), IGN, plus others, and loads of YouTube and Twitch.
However, I would say my consumption of mainstream gaming news is declining, but it has little to do...
Just as I'd given up all hope of being told who won E3, FINALLY, an article!!
/s
Can we just get a separate 'Jobs vacant' section on N4G?? Now that we seem to be getting reports of every single person who comes and goes from developers we may as well start posting vacancies
To play devils advocate here...
RAD want to impress the world at E3. To do that surely you release a demo with wow factor, and that is representative of the final product.. So if journos are saying the game play feels shallow, whose fault is that really?
It's not just one journo either.
It's pointless to criticise a journo for stating their opinion based on a short demo if that's the demo RAD wanted journos to play and talk about...
No problem. Happy to help.
My post above (#12.3.1) gives some explanation.
But to follow on from that and clarify your points a bit.
You need to stop thinking about Kinect (the hardware) as being the vampire that is sucking 10% power from the XB1. And you need to stop thinking of there being a 10% 'boost' to XB1 if you unplug Kinect - We're talking about the simple the reallocation, or freeing up, of existing resources.
Instead, think of it that the XB1 is...
Yeah, needs DS4 support for sure.
It's also a little unfortunate that some VITA games are unlikely to work on PSTV properly. Stuff like Tearaway, as it uses the back touch controls so much, and also the camera.
I think a lot of people would have been OK with picking up an XB1 with Kinect if it cost the same as the PS4 from Day 1.
The problem was, in my opinion, that people wanted a cheaper XB1 - and Kinect was the obvious target for cost savings.
I've said before, if MS had the balls they would have cut the cost of the XB1 and left in Kinect to ensure their 'vision' was seen through.
I am still convinced we could have seen a game that re...
