Considering the E3 briefing had no announcement from Rare - let's hope they are working on it, and a reboot of Blast Corps. And a reboot of Jet Force Gemini. :)

I didn't hear that about the multiplayer. Interesting if it turns out to be true.

I was wondering how level the playing field would be in PvP.

Sony won E3?

I could have sworn it was Microsoft...

.. or was it Nintendo...

.... So hard to keep track

Could we have some more '_______ won E3' articles please, I just can't seem to get it straight who really won!

Ah, so we're still churning out the 'E3 winner' articles I see. Hopefully only another week of seeing these and then we can start working on the 'Who won TGS' articles!

On topic. It's interesting that this article only gives it to MS because of pacing and presentation of their briefing. A lot of people are making noise about MS' Game Game Games approach - but if you count the total number of titles shown, it was about even between Sony and MS du...

Cus that would only be one sensible article. Rather than 3 click bait.

Don't be surprised if we ALSO see a 'Gamers won E3', 'Third party devs won E3', 'Indies won E3', 'E3 won E3' articles :)

After playing the Alpha, I am MORE convinced this is going to be an awesome game and I'll get my money's worth. And if Bungie really support it, the longevity will be immense.

Ah, a 'who won E3' article. I've been waiting for a new one. The previous 500 on N4G have just not cut to the heart of the matter or really provided the insight I was looking for!

If Sony want that, they need to get the price right.

That'll be the only thing to stop this service being a success. The rumours that some games may cost $19.99 would be a killer.

I would happily pay a flat fee every month if it were priced similarly to Netflix.

The other big problem is that PlayStation TV only outputs up to 720p / 1080i and 2 channel audio. For Movies that's a big black mark in my book. For PSNow game streaming it...

"Who won E3? The question every media site is writing a pointless articles about"

I see very few gamers arguing it unless kicked off by yet another pointless article.

For the most part it appears gamers are acknowledging all the publishers / manufacturers had a good E3, and we, the gamers, have a lot to look forward to.

I think devs are realising MS doesn't have the power to dictate terms to them any more.

I thought No Man's Sky was coming first to PS4, not that it was exclusive. So I guess MS will take the game.

@lelo. Your comeback made me laugh. :)

In the interests of International relations...

The word you were after is whole. It's pronounced the same as hole - but for some reason there's a silent W stuck on the front!

Out of curiosity I looked up why there's a silent W, and apparently it comes from old English, where many years ago the letter would be pronounced, but over the years has been dropped. So words like Sword, Knee, Knife,...

Nintendo showed a few new IP.

I would say Splatoon looked like the most intriguing multiplayer game At E3. If that game had grittier visuals and was on PS4 / XB1 people would be going ape for it.

TheYellowFlash30 listed a good few of the other IP.

Also, the thing about Nintendo that a lot of gamers like is that it is consistence, but usually always different at the same time. Just line up the Zelda games and compare. Each has some twist or...

If I had to pick only one, it would be No Man's Sky

That is (hopefully) the space game I have always wanted to play.

It is also pretty amazing that a tiny Indie team can create something like that. Imagine what they could produce with a budget like Star Citizen!

Interesting...

This appears to be exactly the same whine that PS fans used when 360 multiplats looked better than on PS3. You Xbox fans didn't accuse devs of being lazy then, so what's changed now???

If a company creates an architecture that takes extra effort (which equals extra money) to develop for then this is what you get.

Why don't you tell us gaming media?!

You're the ones constantly hyping games. Building them up and then knocking them down with constant articles.

Please find some real news to report on. Watch Dogs is the biggest selling new IP Ubisoft has ever had... So I'm guessing a large chunk of those people are enjoying the game. Certainly the abundance of Twitch streamers seem to like it.

@torchic

The only thing Nintendo need to do is come back to profitability.

They have made it clear in the past they don't see Sony / MS as direct competitors. They are cutting their own path.

The losses are a concern, but in terms of sales and profit, we need to put it in perspective. The Wii was an anomaly when compared to Gamecube and N64. Even the SNES lost massive market share to Sega.

Nintendo will right the ship a...

I disagree with you lilbroRx

Nintendo are a hardware and software company, and have been for about 30 years. One exists to compliment the other - Like Apple. Their split of profit between hardware / software is about 60% to 40%, but it could easily be argued that Nintendo would not sell as much hardware without the core IP software - like Mario.

And as I said in my post, I'm not talking about cannibalising their main IP - we should never see a full blown ...

What Nintendo have shown so far has been awesome. The only downside is that so much is 2015.

They can easily afford to continue supporting the WiiU for a long while yet - fortunately they are very cash rich. Obviously at some point the losses will have to stop - but all these doom and gloom Nintendo articles are very premature.

People forget that the 3DS was selling poorly to begin with, but they turned it around.

Nintendo are on the right ...

It depends on how they play it.

If they are smart they could make decent money from their retro games, and use it as marketing for the Wii U / 3DS.

Why not release all their old Game & Watch titles on iOS / Android, or even create new Game & Watch titles using their modern characters (like Pikmin). It's hardly cannibalising their IP.
