Xvid works fine. Video streaming works fine without windows media player. They need to redo this whole thing again.
Why wouldn't they do it? Gears 3 would sell 2x as much being multiplatform, it could possibly sell more than Halo 3 did.
And as for Mass Effect, I doubt Microsoft can pay EA enough to keep Mass Effect 2 off of the PS3. I think when Mass Effect 2 is released on the Xbox360, there will be a Mass Effect 1&2 PS3 version since the game carries over to the second one.

Well they could sell 50 consoles and have a high attach rate, but that doesnt mean much. You would assume to go against the overwhelming Japanese hatred of the Xbox those few buyers would be extreme, anti-Sony gamers.
