Mass Effect, Bioshock, and Halo 3. Other than those what exclusives really mattered? Don,t wanna turn this into a fanboy war or whatever but the best games last year were COD4, Assassins Creed, and Rock Band.
They are all multiplatform.

Bioshock was outsold by both Assassins Creed and COD4 on the PS3.
Halo 3 sells Xbox360's. Everyone who bought Mass Effect and Bioshock bought the system for Halo 3.

What exactly do you all want them to do? Your complaining about something they cant help. Some hardware needed to go. It cant be something that makes it not function with PS3 games, and the only thing that works is PS2 BC.

I think in most cases those rumors are shot down a little faster if its a "typo".

Does it feel like Microsoft is giving up to anyone else? Honestly, failure rates, losing the format war, letting big studios leave MGS.
I'm sure they have SOMETHING up their sleeves, but what is left now? Next thing you know the PS3 will be cheaper with all XBL features and Gears will be multiplatform
Something is fishy.
They dont care what Microsoft does. They are no longer in any trouble of losing exclusives, and devs know how to use the PS3.
They would do this to
1. Make studios end HD DVD once and for all.
2. To ensure that MGS4 does indeed sell 1,000,000 day one.
3. Actually hit their target of 11,000,000 shipped.
4. To gain enough momentum to possibly win some Microsoft exclusives such as Gears/Mass Effect/ Bioshock.
5.To slow Wii momentum.
And the PS3 is already selling very well WW during the holidays, why would you cut prices during December?
They cut prices this year with "quality titles" to sustain high sales throughout the down times during the year.
Also, securing a blu-ray victory, its less of a risk investing money in the PS3. They know prices will drop soon, and this will help them combat the Wii worldwide.
