Assassins Creed sold more per console on the PS3. COD4 sold nearly as much per console on the PS3. Uncharted sold more per console than did Mass Effect.
Without Halo and those two games bundled in the Xbox360, the attach rate would be about the same I think.

To anyone else? I don't know, after seeing a game like Uncharted it's hard to be impressed by much else. I think it looked better in those comparison videos honestly.

Blu-ray is what made the PS3 expensive, and HD DVD would have done the same to the Xbox360. If the sequel the PS2 had trouble selling at $599, an Xbox360 with built in HD DVD would have sold less than 1,000,000 to date because of high price.
Theres no way to just "add" HD DVD without increasing price. But I agree with you, HD DVD is grasping to stay alive, why would any studio stay with a sinking ship? That would bring down the studio's public perception as well.

They are dumb. It wont be like the PS2 at all. But the PS3 will more than double the Xbox360, and will be close to or better than the Wii, depending on the Wii's ability to avoid becoming played out.
If they cut the price now they will be cheaper than the Wii. They will also force Sony to cut prices to 299 and then it will definitely be over for the Xbox360.
The Wii provides a bottom in pricing for the 360. If they go too much lower than what is supposed to be "inferior" hardware, then investors and consumers will see it as them being desperate. So thats why, they have been losing everywhere but NA for awhile now to everyone, but they would rather add value than d...

I think the attach rate for the 360 was about 16% while the PS3 was more like 14%.
However, looking at Assassins Creed, those numbers are swapped. The PS3's attach rate is higher for Assassins Creed than was the 360's. But as far as moving hardware, the PS3 did better this Christmas. Blu-ray is just an extra perk for PS3 owner...

Its hard to argue with that. If Xbox can finish this year at least 2,000,000 ahead of the PS3 it may break 40,000,000 lifetime.
Even still my friend, any advantages the Xbox360 may have gained in the previous year will be eroded by a superior PS3 line-up with stems across multiple genres. Flooding the market with shooters doesn't replace pinpoint appeal (or PPA) with AAA titles that attract more than one audience. Very soon the PS3 will be the only sensible partner for all HDTV...

WE NEED Clan Support, Friends Invites IN GAME, in game messaging, and recent player list. Just follow Resistance FOM and theyd be fine.
