This is amazing I must admit. PS3 needs to get all of this media stuff in order by mid year. I want TV and Movies.
Sony and Microsoft need to just together and make the next PS4. That would make everything so much easier for everyone
It needs 135,000 a week on average to pass the Xbox360. With a lead in all three regions thats not too difficult, but the PS3 WILL need a price cut to reach that number.
And the effect of blu-ray is this, you get the gaming console which will have all of the biggest titles of THIS year (not last), plus you get an upgradeable HD disc player for movies.

Time Warner owns all three but Warner, New Line, and HBO studios are independent of each other. I'm not sure if its true or not, but it seemed to make sense in the scenario we are seeing.

From using Blu-ray drives in the Xbox, or having add-ons. This is just one more advantage for the PS3, which already outsold the Xbox360 last week by 100,000.
So, if you wanna rent HD movies, you can with Microsoft. If you want to own hard copies of movies, the PS3 is the only all in one media center.

Why isnt there Clan Support, Friend Invites, or Clan invites on the PS3 version? I mean, its not that they cant do it, they jsut havent. Sony should do it themselves if IW doesnt want to.
People come over and are impressed by the game, but then cant believe how long it takes to find a game, or the fact that I cant add friends, or create a clan in the game. Its horrible

The 360 is limiting what the PS3 is allowed to do. Its annoying. GTA would have been bigger if it werent for the 360. Damnit give them their Halo and Bioshock but stop ruining the ambitious games!

Or atleast as well as the PS3. It was an illusion, it was only doing as well as the PS3 because the PS3 was overpriced with little games. It now has games and is better priced and you can see the results.

Those are still the reasons the PS3 will catch up and pass the 360, along with a price cut. If you had said that Halo 3 would release, and the best title on the PS3 would be Uncharted (which I never heard of until E3) then I would have said it wouldn't catch it.
Right now, Halo fans are buying Xbox360's and PS2 owners are either buying a Wii, or waiting for price drops/ big AAA titles.

They dont release LBP and Killzone 2 within days of GTA4. That would be very bad. Atleast wait a few weeks.
huge advantage for xbox360. Hope PS3 can get the porting thing down soon as well. But honestly, with killzone 2 and socom coming, i really dont care anymore about shooters.
there are way too many already. It might sell on the Xbox360 though, but I really am looking forward to a worthwhile KH or FF RPG game. All these shooters are all the same to me.
They are publishing it, the IP belongs to Bioware. And Bioware is owned by EA. EA LOOOOVES money. Unless Microsoft pays them off, it will come to the PS3. Easy way to sell more copies off of a game and make more money.
yeah the title picture is funny as hell. Halo will only ever feel right on an Xbox controller to me. I dont even think I would wanna play it on my PS3.

The thing is LOUD as HELL! It gets really really hot.
On the upside, however, other than this holiday season, Xbox LIVE is reliable (much more so than the PSN it seems.)
But I have had mine for over a year, and though I rarely ever play it because I use my PS3 all the time, it has never gotten RROD yet. The only problem i have with it is the damn noise. It kills me. It sounds like a vacuum.
