I don't remember what made her get it back then, but when I was younger, my mom got me a Sega Saturn and all the Virtual games (Virtual Fighter, Virtual ON and Virtual Cop). All were amazing effin' games. I even had the orange gun controller that came with Virtual Cop.
But yeah, I loved the Virtual games back then. VF2 still has the best soundtrack IMO. Would be amazing if they did a HD version of Virtual Fighter kids.
I wanted to play the first game as well, since I never played it before, but for the first time ever, I waited for a review of the game after dealing with so many corrupted multiplats on PS3.
The thing that is so sad here is how Bioware said themselfs, "Imporved texture pop-ins, better loading times, better framerate" and then this happens. It's no different from Mass Effect 2 on PS3. They sit there saying how it's so good on PS3 yada yada, then what do ...
At first I thought this was going to say, "D3 Publisher announces White Knight Chronicles II NA update which brings new quest and equipment."
Really good PSN Store update right there, also Dragon's Dogma Hard/Speed run mode update comes out tomorrow as well.
Yeah man, I already have my Hard Mode team ready to go and the 20 Wakestones ready to trade-in to start another new-game plus.
About time man, I've been waiting for this more than anything. Always refreshing N4G and others sites just to see more info on this, VERY good news. I just hope hard mode isn't a let down.
I'm still on the fence about this Splinter Cell, but watching this makes me wanna at least try it. I just wish they would make them like they did Splinter 1, Pandora Tomorrow and Chaos Theory. Stop trying to make it all action-like and what not and take it back to the roots.
Also get Amon Tobin back on the soundtrack for the game. That man is God when it comes to making game soundtracks.
Virtual Fighter 2 huh?
Man that takes me back... I still have a few battle songs like Lion's Theme and Shun's Theme on my iPhone.
I'm sure they won't be launch titles or even on next-gen, but I hope to see Dragon's Dogma 2 and Mirror's Edge 2 on the next gen platforms.
I forgot to add the OCZ Vertex 3's, people were saying they died out fast though no?
Tempting to get the 840, though people were saying the best ones to get are the Crucial C4, Intel and Samsung 830. All which are around $80-$100ish atm. But $70 more for 120 GB extra sounds nice...
Has anyone found any good SSD 120 GB deals? I found a Samsung 830 on Amazon for $80-$100 so far.
I really hope they at least make that additional content as DLC or some for the PS3 version. I'm personally not much of the handheld gaming type anymore. I loved every second of that game.
So where the hell is Dragon's Dogma?
It really is sad and quite honesty pathetic how Activision makes so much dam money from just this franchise alone and they still can't seem to invest more resources into learning the tech of the PS3 better even after all these years, and how someone like Capcom can make their games on both platforms just fine, (with probably overall less money than Activision). But even more sad is the fact that in there eyes it's not a problem since the masses are the ones lining up to buy it again ...
Hopefully they will ALL go toward working on Dragon's Dogma 2!
I came to comment section just to post the same thing. I saw MAG II and was like "Oh shi... aww..." lol.
I really liked what I saw about the UI improvements though. My main thing though is performance. A game can look pretty as ever but if it's constantly dropping to the 15-20 fps mark then it takes away from the experience as a whole. So if I could get a steady 30 fps on games, I would be happy.
As for being able to play PS3 games (and maybe PS2/PS1 games), I would say that's what Gaikai would be used for. But then the question comes up about why you would have to u...
"IF these specs are true it would appear that Nintendo might be in huge trouble when the other actual NextGen consoles come in."
Tbh, I don't even think Nintendo is even studying MS and Sony like that. Nintendo's focus has been the main stream...the masses or however you want to call it. Sony on the other hand, (I would of said MS as well but they seem to be going the Nintendo route), is focusing on the core gamers.
Long story short, both ...
Really nice to see this, though half of me hopes it's on the next-gen consoles.
