I still wonder if maybe when the PS4 comes out if it would be able to run FFXIV. I'm still kinda worried about how FFXIV will run on the PS3, given it's past with freezing, frame-rate drops and what not.
I can't speak for Deus Ex, but in MGS and Splinter Cell, the enemies will at least wonder what happen to their partner. For example in Splinter Cell Chaos Theory, if the enemy senses danger then they would always form a buddy system pair and if one gets taken out, he will notice he's missing and look for him.
But I agree, I also hope that this scene was just to show the capabilities of Eden and not to represent how the game actually is.

Just adding info and link for people, thanks for the find I was wondering the name of it.
It was a good show, though could of done without the Wonderbook thing, IMO.
I was really hoping that they would of used Sony's show to show the Final Fantasy XIV 2.0 Realm Reborn stuff, (especially seeing to how it was in their opening trailer before the show started). But as usual, they didn't. I feel it's a missed opportunity for them to not show it when all eyes are watching, seeing to how the game is relaunching and you would want to give it the upmost atten...
Thank you
@ Ashe
Thank you for saying exactly what I was about to just say. Bubble ^
Perfectly fucking said.
I wonder what the Dragon's Dogma DLC is going to be.
I would say 30-35 is a good average for male gamers. I started on Sega Genesis to what we have now, (just turned 23). I know that playing SOCOM 1 and 2 online back then, most of the people I ran into and who were in my clan were in mid 20's, while I was what... like 15 I think at the time. So I would say it's on spot.
Wtf is this???
It's like they saw everyone saying how the game was too easy and decided to troll everyone and make it easier... I mean seriously... Who the hell is making the calls at Capcom? When I was first reading the title of this article I was thinking at first glance, "oh shit, about time they make it hard... easier?!?"
I can't see that happening without the original hands of Zipper with it, but who knows...
yeppppp
Read the articles this morning. Just wanted to say the guys at Digital Foundry make really good articles. They're one of the few sites I'll actually read articles from.
I would add White Knight Chronicles 1 and 2 and MAG onto that list. Both are amazing games IMO that I still play today. But I agree for the most part with this list, especially Valkyria Chronicles and Folklore.
I wonder if the F2P model helped it. I know PSO ep 1 and 2 as well as PSU had a subsription, so I was thinking it would of been like that for PSO 2. But I will say, that I know some people who are going to check this out becuase it looks good and is F2P. Personally I would of gotten it either way. I just hope my lol-laptop can run it or they release it on PS3.
Nice to see those numbers, but to be honest, it's no surprise being Japan. If only numbers would look like that for US/EU parts when it comes to Japanese games.
but then I played Malicious.
I think the better question is if the sequel will be good. We ALL know what happens to games where the first is amazing and the second tends to start going for the "wider audience", (Dragon Age, I'm looking at you).
I'm happy to see a sequel is wanted, but I hope it stays the same with nothing but improvements and new elements that blend into the game.
Been waiting for this ever since I saw it on Andriasang when it first came to Japan. Game is going to be off the chain.
That or Highschool of the Dead/Cradle of Monsters would be interesting.
