I have to agree with Munky on this one. Regardless of how many exclusive you have or not, milking is milking. There are a lot of 4s I've seen while viewing the comments. Despite the fact that Sony is making new IPs (which I give a plus on), Having a 4+ is no different than making another Gears/Halo aka milking.

Either way, I would still want a MAG 2 for PS4.

Borderlands 2 (PSN digital download). My PS3 slim laser wanted to break a week before the game came out, (was planning on Gamefly'n it), and I had some friends I wanted to play with day one and static across the entire story. Seeing how the only way I could play it on time with them was through buying it off of PSN, I choose to do that. So day comes and I pay the full 60 bones for it and only one other friend gets it. Went through it in like a week and wished I could of traded it in b...

I never experience bad screen tear (or any at that) on PS3. The only thing I noticed was the drop in framerate in busy areas/fights and the annoying constant auto-save, which for some reason you can't disable, that slows the game down. Even in the demo on PS3 it was the same story for me (framerate drops).

Not to say you're lying but off of my 150+ hour save I honesty never experienced anything more than framerate drops, which are on both systems.

All hard mode did was make it to where you (the player only) took more damage and make your skills cost about 50% more to use. The mobs were still as easy to kill and stayed the same. If anything hard mode makes the game easier, since the money drops are really high (you get like 10k off of a goblin sometimes).

With that said, I would gladly take scaled mobs over what they offered with "hard mode"

Looks good and I'll get it, but they REALLY need to up the difficulty. At least scale the mobs to your level. And I wonder how getting these new skills will work. I guess they are increasing the vocation level maybe? My pawn and my main character are level 200, with max discipline points, so I guess I can learn the new stuff right off the bat?

And another note, +1 for the Japanese voice options.

It sucks though how Phantasy Star is handled in the US. Phantasy Star Universe was a good game at launch and what not, but lack of support (content, events, DLC, etc...) is what killed it. I still feel US should of gotten the same content Japan did, especially when we're paying the same $8.99 a month for the game as Japan. I feel Phantasy Star Online II will see the same fate of dying out due to lack of content updates, which is why I'm not going to jump in at launch. This seems l...

One of the main things I'm REALLY hoping for is that PS4 supports SATA III and allow you to use whatever HDD you want like PS3 did. I'm sure it will ship with a 250 GB normal HDD, but think how much better it would be if you could install an SSD into your PS4, (and with the support of SATA III), be able to read at SSD speeds instead of normal HDD, which means smoother performance and WAY faster loading times.

That would be a HUGE plus in my book if Sony does this.

I'm thinking that combo as well (PC/PS4). Depending on how the PS4 turns out, I might just do PS4 stand alone.

To be fair though, there are a few on MAG that are pretty dam good.

I was hoping for it to be sooner than April, but all is good. Hopefully get more info soon.

@ Nitrowolf2

Yeah, I think C-Spec was suppose to be the open world for GT5 but they never got around to it I think. I remember reading it in an article some time ago. Would be interesting to see what GT6 on PS4 will be like.

Doesn't matter to me personally, but I still think it's impressive to see Sony go from what it was a few years back to what is it now. Quite the comeback if you ask me.

When it comes to consoles, only thing that matters is the next-gen ones.

I never got into this, but I do know that Yutaka Nakamura, (best key animator of time, IMO), animated one of the fights.

I won't go into detail about what you said, since I'll end up writing an essay on how I felt Mass Effect could of been so much more, but I agree with you non the less. It's pretty sad when your own customers can make out a better ending than the creators themselves could.

Well said.

Does anyone remember doing the infinite PMN mine/Claymore glitch on SOCOM 2 where you could lay down as many as you want? I rememeber doing that to mess around. Me and some clan friends would always mess around making a train of mines and watch them blow up.

But I'm not going to completely down memory lane again with SOCOM 2, too many good times had staying up on school nights to play late Gamebattle matches, paintball matches on SOCOM 2, calling out where you put your ...

I still have yet to understand why they don't put this game on PS3/360 as well.

Pretty much this

I think Sony knows it's place in the industry though. The fact that they STILL continue to pump out the new hardcore IPs is a perfect example. I hope they continue doing it and get some Japanese devs back in the game. They have so many IPs they can bring back for next gen that they have yet to do with this gen.

I will say though, I still feel letting Zipper Interactive go was a HUGE mistake on their part. Zipper knew how to make an ad...

I don't see anything wrong as long as it maintains 30 frames at all times.

I was going to wait for the Digital Foundry report on the Mass Effect PS3 port, but gave in and bought it, (was only $15). Overall I'm happy to of just got to be able to play the first game, (I only own a PS3). It's not even funny though how the first is far greater then the other two installments IMO, but that's another topic...

I wonder though, if having a SSD installed into your PS3 would vastly improve the performance/loadtimes like it did with Gran Turismo...

I agree somewhat that if they held back and "finished" the game that it might of done better, but looking back on it now, if they hadn't released it in such a state, than the game wouldn't of been getting the fixing it's getting now. I personally love the way it's going and even though it's been about 2-3 years, I'm still looking forward to XIV.

I understand they wanted to try something new with the FFXIV and all, but just having FFXI's ...
