IMO, I think this E3 will be the best of them all so far... 2010 is certainly the year of gaming. So many big titles, along with games here and there, are coming out. I'm personally wanting to see what Sony's got going on the most, (mainly wanting to see what SOCOM 4, FFXIV, GT5, The Last Guardian and the rest of the exclusives are up to). Its been 5-6 years since Zipper made a SOCOM game for the Playstation console. I know there are a lot of SOCOM fans, along with myself, out there who have been waiting for this game. I personally have faith that Zipper can pull this off and bring back the SOCOM we all knew and loved back then. I've been playing SOCOM since day one of SOCOM 1 and pretty much grew up playing the series. This along with FFXIV and GT5 are the biggest titles I'm looking forward to for PS3.

Hard for me to say tbh. I want to say Uncharted 2, since the overall game looked good on every level. There wasn't a level where I was like, "they could of done better." Where in GoW3, mainly targeting Kratos vs Poseidon battle, that level was something I've never seen in video games before, and I will say that was the best looking level on GoW3, IMO.
But if I had to pick one, I would say Uncharted 2 comes out on top. But GoW3 is definitely the best looking in it's ...

I personally don't want anything from MS. I also think Sony doesn't need to take anything from them. Sony has it's own first party line up that is very much solid, and I would rather them invest money in that, refine it, and make new IPs, then waste money on third party exclusive like MS is. IMO, it's more of developers wanting to go on PS3, then PS3 wanting the developers, (FFXIII scandal).
It's going to be interesting to see how it plays out tho.
Brought back so many memories looking at this video. I'm very much looking forward to this game, it being one of the main reasons, (next to SOCOM 4, FFXIII Versus, GT5, etc...), for me getting a PS3. I personally loved my time on FFXI, and met a lot of cool people on there as well.
From watching the video tho, the graphics don't look as good as I would of expected it to be so far, maybe because it's beta? Idk... Anyways, this is one of my most anticipated games coming out soo...
I understand the concern here, but how is this different from something like GTA where you can just run up to someone and kill them, let it be man or woman, for no reason?.... it's a game, get over it. If people can't tell the difference between a video game and real life, then that's their problem. This stuff has been around for a long time now and sales like crazy in Japan just as GTA sells like crazy here.

SOCOM 4 and Final Fantasy XIV are my favorite ones coming soon that I'm looking forward to. Can't wait to check out the others as well, (GT5, KZ3, R3, UC3, etc...) I wonder tho if they are ever going to make a Infamous 2 or Heavy Rain 2?
At first I only cared about the cross game chat feature for PSN, but since now I use Skype it really isn't that much of a big deal now. Tho I will say that the 3 year extended warranty, free PS3 themes/PSone games and cloud storage, along with cross game chat, does seem tempting...
I'll most likely wait and see how it all plays out tho. From the survey they made back then, I'm just happy that you can still have the option of playing games online for free as we are now.
Uncharted 2 is an amazing game, but I wouldn't say it was the best game ever made. After playing it for myself, I will say that Naughty Dog deserves every bit of attention they're getting. The game overall was very well polished and the attention to detail is simply on another level.

I'm all about supporting the PS3 and all, but just give it a rest already. We already know FFXIII is better on PS3, it's a FACT. Please move on to other things.
And as for Microsoft using PS3 footage of FFXIII for advertisement on 360 sales, what would you expect from a company like Microsoft?
Just looking at the video where they showed SOCOM 4, even tho it's still in alpha build, it kinda looked like they are straying away from the gameplay style the SOCOM series is known for and moving more toward G.R.A.W style gameplay. But I wont call it yet, I just really hope they don't forget what they have done from the previous SOCOM games (mainly from SOCOM 2) and not change up the gameplay too much.
What I really like that I'm seeing now is that the PS3's potential is finally being recognized by many out there.

Even to this day I hold the MGS series as number 2 for games of all time, and I'm sure everyone will agree that the MGS series is a masterpiece, FACT! My first one I played was MGS 3, which was the first events in the story to happen in the entire series. I personally don't think it would be fair to compare it to Splinter Cell..
