I think a new genre would be suitable for this type of game. Dear Esther didn't really come across as a game either. Interactive stories is probably a suitable way of describing them
i think three years is probably about right. I know Oculus have said that they don't expect until at least there 2nd consumer iteration will they have developed their device enough to stop things like VR sickness which will likely plague the current models upon release.
That's a point i have tried to pick up on in my article. I think, once the cost of the hololens comes down and the device becomes more compact, it will have a wide range of application.
I think its really good to see new takes on video games, capturing the imagination of developers and coming up with fresh ideas
i have a wii u pal. i have a PC and PS4 too. Wii u had some great releases last year, but Nintendo failed to show this year. Don;t be a blinded fan boy mate. doesn't do you or other gamers any favours.
what highlights?
couldn't disagree more. Found those games very immersive at the time. Great story and great execution.
Yes!
that's a great shout
I suspect that part of the deal with Sony is that they will handle the PS4 distribution. they are investing their own money into the game too and so will likely have a say.
dying? it has raised over 3 million dollars with 28 days to go. Sony has also pledged to invest in the game too.
Do you think that its only people who invest in kickstarter that eventually get the product? 46k people are willing to invest in its creation, many more will be willing to buy the game, if it is marketed correctly.
I think there are many candidates for Kickstarter revivals
why would they release this game on old-gen hardware, increasing the production costs to target a shrinking audience? are you going to complain for each new game that is releasing on current gen and not old-gen consoles? of coarse you aren't, so why this game?
Let's hope its improved since the multiplayer beta
i think we will all have a very good idea of what we can expect from VR over the next 12 months after this E3. Expecting many game announcements and hopefully final specs for the upcoming devices.
I have just revisited my Vita again. If you put the Vita down for say 6 Months and then return to it, you will find enough content has trickled out to satisfy your gaming needs. Saying that, I do enjoy a good session on Spelunky and Don't starve on my vita now and then
Shenmue and Skies of Arcadia Sequels. Will never happen, but they so should! I say this every year and every year I am bitterly dissapointed.
you're not wrong there pal
Looking forward to see what this year's iteration of F1 game will bring to the table.
I completely agree. I think I am Bread is a perfect example of what can be achieved when creativity isn't hampered.
