urgh fanboys.
What a waste of an article. There was simply no point to it. Basically, the author could have just written 'xbox has 2 very good exclusives out, what will sony do to respond?' That's pretty much the article, just bloat it out with repetitive points. N4g should be about publishing articles of proper news, not crap like this.
Bloody Political Correctness. when I read about the players turning black, I never for one minute considered what you are clearly referring too. I think it says more about you than to consider that then it does about the game. You need to grow up.
The Problem exists in previous games that didn't deal with this problem effectively because griefing in its current form is a relatively new concept existing in a new subset genre that has developed thanks to the improvements in online gaming. I would expect to see in this new generation similar methods of dealing with anti-social gaming.
This looks very interesting. instead of dealing with griefers by locking down mechanics, they have simply added more to allow other players and the game world to deal with them. they have actually added more value and fun to the game by embracing the activity of griefers. Very clever.
People talk about the 3rd party game issue, but ignore the fact that you can't get games similar to the 1st party titles available on wii u on other game consoles.
well I have pledged and my game is downloading in steam.
$45 (£28 ish) to buy with early alpha access. the beta isnt due for release till Q3 of 2015 so it is gunna be in its early state for quite some time.
I was referring to the game 'the forest' not the location in this game :-)
I bet this game will require some hefty hardware. However, I recall being fooled by the early trailers of 'the forest' into thinking that game would be beautiful, only to be bitterly disappointed when the early access game was released.
I think u have hit the nail on the head with this. A very balanced counter argument to what appears to be a short sighted comment by masterfox

I couldn't agree less. Just because a game doesn't involve shooting someone doesn't mean it's for kids. Nintendo exclusives have always proven to be popular across a wide gaming demographic for many many years (clearly you don't like them though). What this list does show that the wii u is a place where u can experience a truly diverse and unique array of games. Regarding current games, the super marios, mario kart, hyrule warriors, mario 3d world, donke...
I found it disappointing. The performance of the game is not up to scratch. Frame rate dips and pauses really hurt the player experience. I hope the patch to resolve
played this a few month back at a public showing. its very good. I think this will take everyone by surprise and become a huge hit. The multiplayer concept is very refreshing and fun
You can always rely on nintendo to release quality first party titles
Wii u is a must buy for me this holiday.
I'm seriously considering buying a wii u before xmas. I have a PS4 and a hefty gaming PC. The problem though with both the PS4 and PC is that in terms of games purely about fun and not about killing something, they are few and far between. The main attraction about the Wii u for me is the 1st Party titles, such as your Marios and DKs and Zeldas etc. You just don't seem to get games that polished and pure fun on other platforms. I want to play mario with my friends and family in the sa...
I think for the moment oculus rift should forget console gamers. not because of the price of the device, but simply because in order to use the device they will require a graphics card that costs >$400 just to run it. so if you don;t already have the rig, you need to spend possibly $800 onwards to use the rift
You would think differently if you had used one.
exactly! a bubble for you
