Always a competition with Sony... fan boys make me sick
I don't get why people hate on games because of the platform they reside. Makes me ashamed to be a gamer sometimes. I love great games no matter the platform and appreciate what each bring to the fold. This game certainly shows potential but zelda is much more than just an art style. Time will tell how close this games can get to the high standard set by botw.
@foxtrot do you even own a switch? I do and it ain't flimsy, cheaply made and there are no launch issues. The only issuea to be seen are from a select few who have had screen problems, which is incredibly common when a new product launches. Ps4 and Xbox1 had several reports of issues too. It is everyone's best interest that Nintendo succeeds as it will prompt Sony and Microsoft to up their game too and produce better titles for their products. Fan boys make me laugh, if their chosen p...
Why own a ps4 or Xbox then, might as well just get a pc as that can play any game that comes out on either? Stop being ignorant little keyboard warrior Nintendo hater.
Fan boys just love to hate Nintendo. I have a switch, a ps4 and a gaming pc. Right now I'm pspending 70% of my gaming time on the switch, which works flawlessly. I wish, instead of hating, people would celebrate the achievements of the switch and acknowledge that it is a great gaming machine, even if it isn't able to display games with the same graphical fidelity as the other consoles. Let's not forget, pc beats everything in that regard anyway.
@kfk those games won't run on PSVR. The ps4 has to render the images twice, one for each eye. This type of stuff needs to be communicated properly so the general consumer know that they are buying into.
its not trolling, but handling expectation. PSVR won;t holdup against Rift and Vive, but as long as people are prepared for that and they dont mind, then there is no problem
Sure, there are some great looking games running at 60fps on PS4, but these games won't run on psvr as the image needs to be rendered twice, for each eye. while the ps4 could handle rendering it once, twice will be too much
not quite, it just sucks the player out of the immersion. in order for the experience to feel comfortable, the magix number is 90hz, as this is the peak in which most human eyes are able to consume the data thrown at it, anything less will feel... well laggy is probably the best way of describing it
That is true, I have played some great games on VR that don't boast the best graphics. However, it will limit the longevity of how satisfying the PSVR experience remains, as we are all guilty of wanting everything to become bigger and better. Gamers just have to ensure they know what they are getting with PSVR. They can't expect to play AAA games in VR on a PS4, it just can't handle it
This will be where the PSVR falters, as you aren't gunna get games with stunning graphics running on the PSVR in 60fps. A lot is going to have to be sacrificed in order to acheive 60fps in VR on the PS4. not saying graphics are everything, but are important in terms of immersion.
I would ignore the fact that it performs at 120hz. I recall from some interviews that palemer luckey that the difference betweem 90hz and 120hz is barely detectable by the human eye in most people.
You're right there. Only problem I can see is the comparison of tech specs between psvr and the Rift and Vive. Not sure PSVR will stand the test of time as people start asking for more graphical fidelity that the RIFT and Vive will offer on the PC.
May wanna rethink that, I believe you have to be older than 12 to use any of the VR headsets. Might be something to do with the stage in which your eyes are developing at that age
you are an idiot
The biggest Issue I can see is that in a year or two, when the PC VR releases are greatly surpassing the PS4 offerings, is that the PSVR will feel like sub-par VR tech. They are already releasing a VR headset that doesn't stand up to the technical offerings provided by the Rift and Vive, and the games are gunna be held back by the PS4 when compared to the PC. then consider that the majority of VR games will be multiplatform in order to reach the wider number of consumers, i think the bett...
you can already use the Oculus Rift DK2 to play battlefront on the PC...
I'm not so sure about 'Sony Wins'. When you consider the price of a camera and two move controllers, you aren't far off from Oculus Rift price. Plus, there will be a ton more games available on the PC Platform for VR, as the barriers for releasing new VR titles won't be there when compared to the PS4.
I am certain PS VR will be a success, but as both a PC owner and a PS4 owner, my money will be going to Oculus.
Don't expect it to run on PSVR. Don't think PS4 will be up to the job.
Comments like this make me laugh. Just shows how insecure some people are. How do you find time to use your ps4 when you have your d@ck stuck inside it all the time.
Additionally, the guy has a 3rd party headset on which suggests this is probably a ps4 gameplay
