Another 5/5... PS fanboys are adamant there is a conspiracy. How dare so many people enjoy this game!!! they must all be getting paid by nintendo or they have a policy of giving top marks to anything with mario in it... hahaha.
Great work Nintendo, you have breathed life into the game and released a top notch game. Can't wait to play this
haha love how someone has disagreed with you wanting to get this and Zelda. if these two games were on Ps4 and you said this you would have a million agrees.
A lot of younger gamers weren't around to experience the joys of gaming for what it is, a form of entertainment. Before the dawn of the internet and the keyboard warrior, people just played games and enjoyed them. Now its some sort of weird competition as to who is playing games on the 'best' system. Most of the haters on here probably don;t get out and speak to people that much, so they have a warped sense of what matters in the world. They will dislike you for simply being excit...
when you review a game, should you do so with a political influence, or based solely on the merits of how much you enjoy it? It appears reviewers across the board are playing MK8D and are really enjoying it. First and foremost a game should be rated on the merits of its entertainment value. Whether or not you should buy it, if you have it on wii u for example, is another question, but it doesn't take anything away from how fun the game is
Arms will the be the first brand new IP coming to switch soon. I expect there will be a few more on the horizon too. Snipperclips is a new IP and a lot of fun.
Is it so hard to believe that the reviewers play this game, and really enjoy playing it?
I didn't buy a switch for the 3rd party support from likes of ubisoft and EA. I have pc or ps4 for that. I bought a switch for the top quality 1st party games. Switch doesn't need COD or BF. The big support from indies is welcomed though. If nintendo release a new metroid, a proper pokemon, a good star fox, and a heap of mario, then it will sell like hotcakes. the Big N has such a great lineage when it comes to creating 1st party games that are FUN to play, and it is this expectation ...
I'm really hoping for VC info. there are loads of games in the back catalogue that i would love to play again, as I have sold my other nintendo consoles over the years
I agree. although comments from devs suggest that the Switch is a very capable machine, so nobody can really be sure of where it's limits are.
Look pretty close to me. However, nobody expected this to push the Ps4 to its limits so not suprised to see they are pretty much on par. The real test is when we see 1st party titles on the switch and see how they compare. Expecting good things from mario this year
funny, my Switch hasn't bent, my joycons aren't loose, the coating is perfect and the console feels quite expensive to hold and use. Very well built. Are you basing your views on personal use of from reading fanboy articles?
My switch is fine, no bend, no scratches and no issues. the OS is slick and zelda is the best game i have played in years. I have no idea how it could bend if im honest, the dock isn't anything special and doesnt get hot.
let's forget about specs for a second and focus on games. The switch as more exclusives and unique games coming out this year than the scorpio has. Considering that the scorpio is focused at enthusiasts who want 4k gaming, the user base is already limited, as most who are interested in microsoft games liekly already have a pc or an xbox one. the switch is aiming for that second console market, for people who already own a ps4/xbox/pc who want an additional gaming device that offers someth...
When you consider that the Switch, as a Hybrid solution, is also likely to be seen as a successor as a portable to the 3DS, I expect that once those titles that would normally make their way to the DS start coming to the Switch, you will see the Switch's market share increase considerably.
However, as many have pointed out, we need a steady stream of games to make their way to the console. There were large gaps between big releases on the Wii U which caused my Wii u to gather du...
Well said, I have no idea why people need to find a reason to state why their chosen platform is better than the other. I wish there was a site such as N4g, but only populated by people who really enjoyed gaming and wanted to celebrate and have interesting debates, but sadly I have yet to find that site.
No that's what you are talking about. People who invest in Nintendo are, for the majority, people who want to invest in different type of games, and for the best part, very high quality games. Nintendo have a habit of producing very fun games that fit into a category all of their own. I will play my Mass effects on my PS4/Pc and I will play my Zeldas and Marios on my Switch. I loves video games, and that is the main reason why i bought a Switch.
What a lot of these fanboy haters don't understand is the Switch isn't trying to directly compete with the xbox one and ps4. In order to make a portable device which is capable of a high level of graphical fidelity, they have to scale some parts back. It wouldn't be cost effective to have a portable device running with ps4 specs as the production cost would be huge and the need to cool and power the thing would make it impractical.
the switch provides a platform from whi...
this nintendo bashing make me laugh. you would think that neither Sony or Microsoft ever had issues which they had to patch to fix hahahahaha. Honestly, fanboys, go and diddle yourself over your chosen platform, and leave these boards free of your verbal diarrhoea.

it is an awesome game, i just found that after a while it gets a little boring. Suffers from the same thing as other city building games, there is no end game and nothing to aim for, except improving your city
