The fact that Miyamoto said he doesn't like realistic graphics makes me wonder is the new secret project Nintendo and Miyamoto is currently working on would have realistic graphics.

Hint Hint guys.

The Wii U is coming out soon, and Nintendo need a core tittle to help drive their Next GEN to newer heights; that was never achievable with the Wii.

Besides, what better way to bring out Nintendo Next Gen console with a Title created by the leg...

Personally, I don't think M$ would use the name fusion for the next xbox.

That said, I think the word "Fusion" would be use to describe the Next xBox technological advances.

Ex: Powered by the fusion technology or something along the line.

@PCZ

Agreed, the graphics are unimpressive on skyward sword.

But what most gamers fell to realize is that the Entertainment market has changed a lot; we went from 480p to High DEF with in a matter of a few years. That being said, I think the Wii graphical capability just doesn't fit in our ever growing demand for high quality visuals ,which have become the norm for most. With that said,I believe the Wii U will most likely be widely excepted by most gam...

If the Wii U is priced at $450, it better be packed with some serious power under the Wii U's Hood this time. That absolutely means no off-the shelves technology NINTENDO!!!!! But then, we talking about Nintendo here..... One thing for sure, I hope Nintendo don't make the same fatal mistake like they did with the 3DS.

Personally, I don't think Nintendo is that stupid to make the same mistake twice in a ROW. That why I believe the Wii U is going to be a powerhou...

The Graphics in this video footage looks OK, but what bugs me the most is the play mechanics. It looks BORING and repetitive. I means the game play is a complete rip off from Ninja Gaiden. Not to mention, I think MGS visual art style just doesn't work as a hash and slash game. No offensive, but this game is a utter MESS. Nuff said!

First off,

I think is a good idea for Miyamoto to move on to a smaller game development team because Nintendo don't have enough talents under their roof to crank out enough games all year round, especially when the Wii U comes outs. Also, I believe the game development teams Miyamoto was previously supervising should be able handle themselves now; they don't need Miyamoto to baby them forever. In addtion, Miyamoto is getting old. So my questions is, what will Ninten...

The statement made from this article doesn't surprise me simply because Nintendo knows that the core gaming market is a tough market to take on. So it seems apparent that Nintendo are doing their homework before they decide which specification would be more effective in winning the heart of core gamers.

I don't see anything wrong with the character design and art direction; simply because I think Capcom wanted to give Dante a younger boyish look to his character appearance. That being said, I believe Capcom wanted to give the players the sense of growth with in Dante's storyline. As one progresses further in the game, his appearance starts changing in a more rugged demon hunter/slayer look. That to me sound like logically way to show how a character grow in their world as such as Dan...

Personally, I think Miyamoto is bored with the 3D era, and it shows; and Nintendo just now realizing that Miyamoto is not actively putting forth the effort as equally as much he did back in the old sprite days. Perhaps that why he said he wants to step down from his current position in order to work with a smaller team or make a game himself. So my question is, Has Miyamoto ever worked with any type of 3d application before??? I don't so! And if I'm correct, than the fact that he want...

Nintendo is not going to WIN! They just don't have enough resources to hang with M$ and Sony. Additionally, the core gaming market is a tough market to tackle, so it's not going to be easy. That being said, Nintendo is going to have to spend a lot of money in online research & development, advertising, learning how to use professional 3d application tool such as unreal engines, and of course create new AAA titles. So that leave me to believe that Nintendo staff $ workers are going...

Now We all know that the Wii U is going to out perform the 360 in every way possible. So what all the Fuss for, no one knows the final specification of the Wii U; in time we will.

Now Thinking Logically, I think Nintendo better pack some punch under the Wii U Hood if they want to compete against the big dog(PS4/720). Having said that, I think it would be foolish of Nintendo to design their next GEN gaming console around a 8 years old technology(360/PS3).

I agree with everything you said except for the part you said that the Wii u will probably have a total of 64mb of eDRAM. Now I also agree that 768mb eDRAM is expensive as hell, but I don't think Nintendo is going scoop that low (64mb of eDRAM) when the Wii U specification is finally finalize.

The reason I say that is because Nintendo is back up against the wall right now, and they have to make sure that the Wii U will be able to complete...

Hey, are you having some issues on Ng4 website? I asked because every time I hit the reply button, it takes me to a different web page that comes up blank.

anyhow....
I agree Nintendo is pushing the same 3rd party multiplats
game for the Wii U. Although, I do believe there will be a huge difference between 360/PS3 vs Wii U in the frame-rate/graphical department.

Now having said that, I think by creating t...

Yup. The wii sold 90 million units, Xbox and ps3 Combined are about 100 million.

The Wii was a failure last gen and that's why sony and Microsoft made their own motion controllers and casual titles because the hardcore market wasn't making enough money.

But the wii was a failure.

Spot on...

I think the reason is most 3rd party developer are having a difficult time keeping Nintendo wii fans happy is because there not aware that most casual gamers are becoming hardcore gamers one GEN after the Next. That said, causal gamers don't care much about the graphics in a game as-long as the play mechanics
and fun factor are appealing. On the other hand, a high percentage of hardcore gamers care about in game Graphic more than causal gamers;as we...

At this point...nothing is final specs wise.

Personally, I think if the Wii U graphics is slightly(30%-50%) better than PS3/360 with mind-blowing fully animated fore-ground vs backgrounds that surpasses anything 360/PS3 have ever done in the past; than the Wii U might be a success when it comes out. That said, I would pick fully animated scenes over mountain load of still graphics any day.

768MB of RAM of shared memory between the CPU/GPU sucks....especially for a Next Gen console. That said, if the rumor(Wii U specs) are true, then I think Wii U will become a failure just like the Wii when the Next-Box/PS4 comes out.

Sony failed once with their PS3, but they some how manage to put themselves together. So, My point is, if Sony can do it, so can Nintendo if they make the right choices of course.

Another is,I see one particular mistake that I think Nintendo isn't aware of, which could cost them a lot of headache in the long haul,if they don't buy a least one more Game studios.

The reason why I say that is because it is quite obvious that Nintendo's game developmen...

The only reason why Sony's PS3 failed in the beginning is because Sony's original hardware specification was scaled up after Sony witnessed the 360 in action. So, that being said, I don't think Sony is going to make the same fatal mistake with their NEXTgen console. Its A lesson learned that Sony will never forget which raises the bar for WAR.
