Microsoft is known for being aggressive in the market place. And Sony likes their name on on every product manufactured even if its within collaboration with another major company. And so I clearly can see if Microsoft and Sony work together they would end up fighting against each other to control it all.
I think Activision trademark the name "Call of Duty" But did not trademark the name "Mordern Warfare" As I recall everyone that I know use to refer to the name Call of Duty when ever they talk about the game; but over time I notice no one hardly refer to the name Call of Duty anymore. And so, I think Activision didn't realize it before so now they're battling it out in court to protect their investment.
Personally, I think what ever Sony and Microsoft are up to has nothing to do with console gaming. So We are all blind and not looking thing from a realistic point of view. Beside, Microsoft and Sony don't really need each other anyways; because both Microsoft and Sony have a pocket book the size of Texas.
Microsoft and Sony working together is not a good because competitions spurs from all directions. That being said, being a gamers would become boring; no more console wars talk, no more bragging or trash talk on which console has the best lineup of games, etc etc. Beside, we all wouldn't here to post our commits on this site if it wasn't for the fact that two major company are battling out in the gaming world. And this, of course, is what makes the Gaming world fun and interesting; so I...
I think it might has something to do with the release of Window 8. so, I guessing that Microsoft is just trying to prevent themselves from getting sued.I also believe it perhaps the reason why Microsoft registered the Sony-Microsoft domain name just in case Sony tries to sue them for Monopolizing the gaming PC market. And so, it would just make sense for Microsoft to add Sony under their belt to make things fair.
If Microsoft and Sony decide to merge the gaming industry would become lazy. And so, keeping the competition going between both company is what keeps on their toes.
I think what this article is trying to say is that the gaming industry is getting harder to maintain year after year.OH since computational power is growing at a fast rate; most game developers can't keep up with the technology. Now The key to making things look new again is to add more lighting, refractions, transparency, and reflections just like what we all witnessed with the Zelda demo. But adding proper lighting effect takes a lot of time to get it to look right. And yes.... you don...
I think it has something to do with the release of Window 8.
After all, Microsoft is adding the capability to play xbox360 games on the PC when win8 comes out. Oh and we all know Microsoft pretty much own the PC market(direct 11) anyways. So I m guessing if Sony decide they too want to have the PS3 playable on a PC they would have to do it through Microsoft. What do you guys think????
And one more thing I like to add...Microsoft and Sony have been around for years. So why register the domain name (Microsoft-Sony) now? I smell a rat!
How can anyone misuse a trademark (Microsoft-Sony)
Microsoft that a bunch of sag- a -sh_t!!!!! Come again!
we weren't born yesterday!
I don't think Nintendo is going to fail. And, As for the Wii U controller I have faith in Nintendo that they will maintain their successful track record for making a Good and comfortable controller. Beside, if it wasn't for Nintendo to implement the analog stick to the N64 we would still be in the dark age. So I give Nintendo credit for at least trying to bring something new to the gaming world.
Nintendo could use the Wii U trigger button or analog stick combined with the single touch interface to give it sort of a multi touch function to Zoom in or out on screen if they wanted to. Just a guess!
I m just using common sense here...The more you interact with a device the more power it requires to use it.
Naughty Dog you're wrong...why do you think most big name game developers are flocking to the Wii U ban wagon.Beside, Naughty Dog don't really know the full specs of the Wii U because the Wii U spec sheet is not finalized. OH and as for the controllers not having multi-touch may not be necessary;
simply because multi-touch drains more powerful than single touch.Nuff said!
If Microsoft decides to include the function to allow Xbox 360 games to be played on PC's, that's going to make it easier to pirate xbox360 games.
(1)Gears of Wars 3 has better graphics
(2)Uncharted 3 looks great but the graphics looks too crispy for my tastes; more blur effects to the textures would fix that issue.
(3) Gears of Wars 3 has better characters models and objects than Uncharted 3 characters models and objects.
(4)Uncharted 3 and GOW3 has good lighting effects
(5)Gears of Wars 3 could use a bit more color graphically wise.
I have a Good feeling that Zelda HD is one of the Nintendo's-third party collaboration. I didn't think nintendo game developers can pull off the HD demo by themselves; just a hunch! We will have to wait and see.
Because the Wii lack the horse power to deliver anything better then what they have already been developed in the past; graphically wise. Call of Duty is a prime example.
Nintendo is doing everything right this time simply because they are listening to what gamers want. I guess its might be the reason why nintendo haven't provided us any specs or any complete descriptions of the Wii U capabilities; which I think is smart.Who knows Nintendo might be listening on the sideline reading all of our post just to gather all of our likes and dislikes to insure the Wii U meets our demands.
I think Nintendo is just as worried as most of us Gamers are about the fate of the Wii U. And I m sure Nintendo have finally learned from their past mistakes; so I have faith that they'll do just fine making the Wii U a success.
