I would. Which is why I have yet to purchase Ninja Gaiden 2. It gave me a headache on the 360 (damn camera).
Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 and Tales of Vesperia Pirate Girl? A playable version of Alone in the Dark?
Seriously, this has less to do with Capcom and more to do with Gamestop not wanting their special retail version to release after the digital download. Read the Siliconera article for an interesting coincidence.
You did forget Ratchet and Clank and Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 which are some pretty big PS3 exclusives coming out this year.
However, both company's fall 2009 lineups are slimming out.
This means that 2010 is going to be huge though (especially Q1 where the likes of Mass Effect 2 and Alan Wake will compete with Heavy Rain and God of War 3).
Well, the issue obviously rests with one of the content providers (my money is on Fox). They don't want you to use Hulu on your 50" television. They want you to use it on a 15" monitor. What they want you to use your 50" television for is to watch the program on their network with all the ads.
Actually, read the article. There doesn't seem to be a link between the 360 and I.G. productions. What the author means is that on the same day that there is an I.G. announcement, there will also be a 360 announcement.
Well, Bioware are Activision's rivals. However, Kotick was really quite silly. You don't try to threaten a console manufacturer with threats like that. Especially one manufacturer who holds the rights to licensed music and licensed games that they themselves publish.
Lol. Not every PS3 owner needs a 360. The same holds true in the opposite direction. I however, needed a PS3, 360, and Wii so I fall into a whole different category.
Well, at least Bethesda isn't doing their ass backwards approach at releasing one DLC at a time 4-6 weeks apart as was their original plan. Their new goal is to release Broken Steel then Operation Anchorage and The Pitt as soon as possible at the same time. Mothership Zeta and Point Lookout soon after. After all, they NEED to make the October deadline of the GotY edition. After all, time and time again, it has been shown that a delayed multiplatform game sells horribly.
As a sid...
Bethesda are fools. This DLC won't sell anywhere near as well as the 360 or PC versions due to the delayed release. Hell, release all the DLC together for the PS3 owners, they've waited long enough! Making them wait an extra six to eight weeks for DLC that PC and 360 owners already have access to is bullsh!t. Charging the same price for a delayed release is even more bullsh!t. Treating the owners of your game, the people who make up nearly 50% of your sales is bullsh!t.
Square should just fire his ass as he and his team cost them millions only to produce a mediocre game that sold horrendously.
Yeah, especially since all word of it disappeared. Though I think it became vaporware the instant the 360 version hit and garnered horrendous reviews.
What Wada said makes sense. In a nut shell, he said the PC and 360 versions sold horribly. And with the huge gap in time between the releases (almost one year after the 360 version), sales for the PS3 would likely be horrendous as well given the long amount of time for word of mouth to circulate (everyone knows the game as sh!t). Therefore, Square Enix will just give up on the PS3 version (and probably fire the team working on their "multiplatform title for the world") and look like...
Lol. This is probably the funniest article I have read about the whole Activision/Sony thing!
Lol. I own all three platforms and a decent gaming rig and if there is a multiplat game, PC is my choice. Free online baby. So I honestly can say to Sony: Call the bluff. I can get Modern Warfare on the PC.
Well, I personally own a gaming PC (and a PS3, 360, and Wii) so I am pretty much covered. However, it is expensive to build a good rig and I doubt people would jump in (especially since everyone complains about the PS3 price point).
Er, Namco Bandai has released all the the 360 exclusive titles on the PS3 in one form or the other (with the exception of Ace Combat 6). Tales of Vesperia, Eternal Sonata, and even Katamari are now on the PS3 and this was due to the delay in dev kits. And if you are referring to Tekken 6, there is one reason for this: this is nothing like the PS2 era where one console completely dominated. Neither the PS3 or 360 has a commanding enough of a lead for one publisher to completely subsist on one ...
Royalties are paid based on number of game sales. So Activision sold a lot of copies of CoD on the PS3, hence a lot of royalties. That is why I think this is less of a "Sony drop the price of the PS3" and more of a "Sony drop the price of royalties".
To be honest, I always associated Splinter Cell with the Xbox even though it was a multiplatform franchise. That being said, never say never about Conviction on the PS3. Hell, Ninja Gaiden 2 made its way to the PS3 after all.
Er, why? Releasing it at the same time will save them money on advertising campaigns. Releasing at different times saves them no money and will piss off the PS3 hardcore fanboys. Gamestop forced their hand with the retail version of the game.
However, if the retail version is not a PS3 exclusive, then I eat my words and will start to think it may have something to do with all those XBL MvC 2 videos every week (marketing deal for two week headstart?).
