Looks pretty good. Hopefully they get higher res textures cuz those placeholders aren't looking too hot. I also hope that the KZ2 release comes with a making of that doesn't pull any punches and actually shows us what they had at E3 05 though I have to admit that pause was funny. Other than that, they have a pretty cool vision and if it is realized, we'll finally be playing a movie.

Damn. All these computer manufacturers are taking sides left and right. Should be pretty interesting in the end. Thanks to competition between Blu-Ray and HD-DVD, we're getting new features faster, better prices faster, and better quality faster. Face it. Any side that screws up will lose so its a real plus for the consumer. We know Blu-ray and HD-DVD will do their best.
Never much a fan of most racing games. Found them dull and boring after a while. Isn't there another iteration of Geometry Wars with PGR4?
Wow. A port done right. When you release a port a couple of months late you need to make up for it. Be it a little extra polish or a couple more features. It was done last generation and should be done this one as well. However, I think that if the extra polish or features are patchable to the older ports, then they should do it. Not fair to screw over anyone with these multiplatform games.

Moore is a smart man. When he was 360 "exclusive" he appealed to the 360 fanbase by getting all those tatoos and calling out the other consoles. But now that he's "multiplatform" he respects all the consoles like all level headed people should. Hopefully he can bring the quality of the early 2K titles to the Madden franchise, maybe that shot in the arm to really shake things up.
I doubt whether it would have an incredible impact on the American market. It will have one for sure, but on the Japanese market? It would be a monster. It may give PS3 the push to overtake the Wii in sales for at least one month and bring the install base over there up by hopefully millions. The US market needs a different kind of killer app like Gears of War or Halo 3 to make much of a difference. Killzone 2 could be that game, only if Sony appropriately advertises the game. Well, it's the smart thing to say. Many, many fanboys had made incredibly crazy theories that Madden 06 was made to be subpar on the PS3 because of the Peter Moore appointment. Which doesn't really make much sense. EA probably made a crap product to save money. With this statement, he's hopefully calming down the masses. Never liked EA sports and found that the quality of Madden has been going down over the years. Hopefully he can do for EA what he did for 2K.
Sad that so many goddamned console fanboys are involved in this! I honestly only want Blu-Ray to win because I own a PS3. But that doesn't mean that I think HD-DVD is crap. Far from it. Well, I don't really know how you can play a MMO when you need friend codes and everything. Nintendo needs to come out with a better system, but with sales going the way they are, they really have no motivation. Now Sony, being in third place, is really making an effort. Microsoft is also making an effort, extending the olive branch that is the RROD 3 year warranty. Nintendo has no need to move fast cuz their console is selling like hotcakes even when there are no new games on it.
