I really don't like mini game collections, so I'm not in the mood to purchase Wii Resort.

And yes, I know Red Steel 2 uses it, but it isn't out yet, so how can I be immersed in something that I cannot play?

One TB harddrive? If 120gb costs around $100, I shudder to think how much a hypothetical TB HDD would have cost if it were real.

Well, I think you may be thinking of Last Remnant. The Square Enix president pretty much said that Last Remnant on the 360 and PC were sh!t, thought of as sh!t by everyone, and as such would make no money on the PS3 due to the travel of word of mouth.

I disagree oobob. I never felt immersed in any Wii game yet. Besides that, I play tennis myself. If I want to be immersed in tennis, I'll just pick up my racket and go to the courts. I want to be immersed in an experience that I would not normally do. Maybe once Real Motion Plus is utilized in a game other than Tiger Woods may I feel that immersion.

But until then, no. Still, there are some great games on the Wii that have pretty good art direction which compensates for the lack...

Assuming they actually have a scoop and aren't bullsh!tting, then this game may be the title they are referring to. Unless they are referring to a potential US release of the PS3 version of TOV, which would be better news for PS3 owners.

But is Star Ocean LH exactly popular? I mean, it didn't get the best word of mouth, so I figure that a release on the PS3 will do pretty horribly.

Exactly. Especially since there is the possibility (even though it is slight) that the Japanese VA will be included with a potential SO4 PS3 port. That way, you don't have to listen to that godawful English dub. Anyone who has even watched a trailer of this game, know of which character I speak.

To be honest, this is similar to accepting money from MS, even if it is going directly to advertising. That being said, plenty of other developers have done it so it isn't anything new. Capcom has done it multiple times for their digital titles and demos, Flock, RE5, MvC 2 for example.

However, the Team 17 boss should really shut up as he is contradicting himself.

Well, sadly, this is probably one of their best selling titles for this console generation (even if it is a digital re-release for the PSN). Shows how far Square has fallen (Last Remnant, Star Ocean LH, Infinite Undiscovery, Crystal Defenders).

But hey, at least their hand held division is going strong!

A game like Star Ocean would be leaked first by Famitsu if it were the case. That being said, unless the overall visual style is changed, hate the creepy doll look, and the godawful english voice acting redone or removed (the two things that kept me away from the 360 game) then no thanks to a potential PS3 version.

Er, elongated dev time hurts shareholders for that development studio. Especially if they haven't released a title in years, meaning that they don't make much money and bleed a lot of money towards development of the game.

Hell, Square-Enix has had horrible earnings for a while due to their long ass development times for Final Fantasy XIII!

It's probably a different engine from NG2, which is why it is native 720p over the 360 versions subHD native resolution.

Extras seem to match the JP version (only missing the keychains)...

Do you like the Civil War story line (I personally dislike it, especially psycho Tony Stark)? If not, get this.

6076d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

Er, Modern Warfare 2 is expected to sell millions of copies. They can make a profit by charging normal prices.

Not really new, Digital Foundry already mentioned this, but I am still surprised that Bungie was so forthcoming. Normally, a developer will never tell you native straight up. They'll usually give you upscaled supported resolutions instead.

Er, only titles available are PS1 titles, and the PS3 still has that compatability. So this article is moot.

In order to release PS2 games, Sony needs to institute some kind of emulation just like MS, which means BC with those titles on the PS3. But if you were smart, you got the 60gb PS3.

I honestly don't know. It should be way past market oversaturation by this point.

KoF XII is a bit surprising, but it is decidedly old school and does not have a wealth of modes, most likely contributing to the lower score. I am personally going to wait for fan reaction to the game and decide whether to purchase from there.

You could also just play the game and determine how good it is...

Good for you. However, I found it highly disorientating the way it always zoomed in erratically for beheadings.
