I wish screenshots conveyed whether a game was worth playing or not.

Like most Americans, I don't have an HDTV and therefore do not care about this format war. I'm still buying DVDs and will still buy them for quite some time.

lol, maybe someone knows you well enough to be sure that you'll in fact like the upcoming Wii exclusives more?

Hmmm... I always associated Crash Bandicoot w/ Sony

I too wish there were more games out. But as has already been reported, many developers underestimated demand for the Wii so have only now started taking the console seriously. Their loss (financially-speaking).

I agree with PS360Wii, I would probably have a Wii AND either a 360 or PS3 if I were as hardcore a gamer as I used to be, simply because the Wii is so different (and because it's the only console my gf will actually play).

There are some games other t...

And unlike most mainstream devs, they tend to innovate and think outside of the box. It seems like developers in large dev companies are so distanced from those who make the business decisions, that a lot of games released exist simply to generate revenue and aren't actually projects that the devs enjoy working on.

The Wii version of The Godfather was apparently the best version because of the controls, but I agree that the current game selection is not largely comprised of grade-A quality games (but is the PS3's?).

I personally don't feel that a game has to be adult-oriented to be good, but I know many ppl do not share that same view. I also don't feel a game has to attempt to be realistic to be good. As an example, I still prefer to play Quake 2 over Quake 4 simply because Quake 2 is ...

I assume I have 3 disagrees because PS3 Fan does not in fact have one bubble left? Anyone who disagrees w/ me care to answer the question, as I think those who agree w/ me are wondering the same thing I am.

A Nintendo-exclusive developer? Hopefully this starts a trend to reduce the number of half-assed ports coming to the Wii.

You're right. I wish the Wii costed way more, looked more like a George Foreman Grill, used up more electricity, didn't appeal to my non-gamer friends, had more games that I could also get on a 360, had more games that cost $60 instead of $50 to justify higher development costs, lost more exclusive titles to the 360, and was less backwards-compatible with the console it replaced.

Way to go PS3 Fan. Try using that one speech bubble you have left to come w/ a decent response.

THQ's making a wise decision in my opinion. The PS3 and 360 have similar capabilities that are far different than that of the Wii. There are Wii games out there that simply couldn't be done on the PS3/360 and vice versa, and I'm getting kind of sick of devs trying to milk the Wii by just releasing ports. Let's see some innovative games that truly take advantage of the Wii's strengths.

Remember when Sony implemented Sixaxis IN RESPONSE to Nintendo? Why would your precious Sony care to implement Sixaxis if the Wii's motion-sensing technology is a gimmick? Good thing you have 1 bubble left for a response.

So Cooking Mama and Wario Ware aren't real games? I'm not a huge fan of either of them, but those two games are more innovative than most games out right now. But I guess a game has to be just another FPS or 3rd-person shooter to be considered a "real" game.

Wow bladestar, you obviously didn't even read the article that you're referring to. If you had, you would've known that EA didn't say anything. The research firm Kaufman Bros were the ones who said, "We are getting tired of what we believe is irrational exuberance about the Wii... We are not sure the publishers will benefit from the Wii." You might get accurate news if you actually read the article next time instead of settling for your interpretation of the headline just because...

This was either a witty potshot at the PS3 or a fanboyish assumption that the PS3 will have the same drive issues. Entertaining to say the least.

Newsflash: Only about 35% of the American population currently owns an HDTV.

Hardcore gamers to which the PS3 and 360 appeal to are likely in that 35%. The Wii seems more likely to appeal to the other 65% than either the PS3 or 360 would.

Don't get your opinion confused with fact. You have consistently made biased and low-quality comments on this site which is why you only have 2 bubbles. Back up your statements with reasoning. Explain why the Wii is not a "true" gaming console as opposed to just being a "different" gaming console.

Wait, so you're saying that the nextgen technology in the Wii that differentiates it from the other consoles costs as much as or more than implementing Blu Ray support?
