A deal is a deal, it happens. You deal with it, get over it, or buy a new console. Fans for Tomb Raider had to deal with a 1yr exclusive. Fans for Street Fighter couldn't play the game unless they have a PS4! PS4 owners who are fans of Dead Rising will never play DR3. DR4 is said to be a 1 yr exclusive as well, but who knows. It happens on both sides, to both sides, get over it.
@Movefasta1993 I remember the first time I saw the original fat ps3... I was like damn must be hard to design a console for form and function, it was a face only it's mother could love haha I still bought it tho, shielded my eyes every time I had to look at it. I personally like the slim PS3 a lot better, I like matte finishes on things.
Not surprised. I'm not sure why anyone would be. Polyphony is notorious for taking a loooong time on their games. I understand that they want to be thorough, but when it adds years to your development cycle I think that's just too much. They went back and re-scanned vehicles, I thought the vehicle models looks good already. They went and re-recorded vehicle sounds, something that I think is weird in GT, but in the trailers it sounds pretty much similar to previous games. I use to buy ...
Yea, the Xbox Scorpio is basically a new console. It's comes 4 years after the release of the Xbox One. This is Xbox's restart, it's their new generation. It will obviously still support the Xbox One, they would be crazy not to, but as will the Neo & PS4 there will come a time when exclusives come to the "new" console because it's just not wise to have it on the older models.
It's our new reality, I just wish these console makers made their...
Sadly there probably will be a class action lawsuit. This small studio will probably be shut down and put out of business and they will be out of work. The witch hunt is real, people won't stop. I don't believe for 1 second that Sean Murray and his team set out to lie and mislead consumers. More likely the reality is they set out to create their original vision but slowly realized that they neither had the means or the man power to accomplish all that they set out to do, but by then t...
I personally don't see the difference, Netflix and PS+ are both something that one can walk away from. Neither is necessary.
Since you brought it up, how does it stack to Xbox Live? A service that has been charging $60 for years now. They had great online but hide everything else behind that pay wall. Now PS+ wants to hike the price up to the Xbox Live level and that seems to be a big problem. I'm only saying that people seem easily offended because people seem okay...
I have no problem with the $10 price hike, it's $10... a year, not a month but a year. That's less than $1 a month hike. Where was the outrage when Netflix raised the MONTHLY price for those who were grandfathered in earlier this year? I can tell you that it was more than a $1 a month. I didn't hear a peep. I don't know if it's just gamer's, some, but it seems like our lot is just ready and waiting to get offended by something. So ready to cry foul, so eager to pick up...
@Rude-ro Your wrong! MS has never done or tried to do anything shady to us loyal fans! Sony giving you guys free games as PS+ members all that time was just a ploy, they were just screwing you guys, they had this plan all along... blind them with free games and then jack the price up by $10 muahahaha. Xbox is giving us free games cause they like us, their coming from a genuine place not the same place as Sony. Sony just wants to make money, Xbox isn't concerned with making money. They jus...
"their lack of effort"
That line right there, tells me all I need to know about where your coming from. It's from the same place that call's dev's "Lazy." You think those dev's don't know that the game their making is not gonna workout? Do you think if they had a chance to fix it, they wouldn't? Effort... Sony spending the money to hold a conference isn't showing effort? Sony taking the time to make the chip sets in the PS4 sm...
@lelo2play you bring up a really good point, I think the space between it's release and now isn't that long. Not long enough to completely kill all the hype. They won't have to do that much marketing and advertising, any longer and I think it would have been a detriment to the game.
Edit: People will buy this game. Tomb Raider on the other hand, may be another story. A lot of fans felt betrayed that TR actually went exclusive, let alone for a year. The series h...
@moldybread People have always harped on 60fps, but right now there's nothing that could be done about it. The PS4/XB1 can't do 60fps with the visuals they want to output, they just can't. With the Scorpio and Neo, they'll be able to do 60fps with the visuals of today and better, but 4K/60 will come with some sacrifices. People move goal posts all the time, I don't know why it still phases some. Goal posts are moved to suit that individuals argument/views, doesn't make...
I would also like to see full size screens. Those are much to small to really tell how "good" it looks. But I agree, we'll never truly know until we've seen it on a headset.
@OI_G You seem like your emotions have gotten the better of you, are you able to calm down and have an adult conversation? Just cause you have both consoles doesn't make you any different than someone who only one's just one. You think having both gives you some magical insight that others who only have one console don't? Clearly from your comments and your emotional rant, it doesn't.
Of course the Wii U pushes better graphics than a PS3, I don't even kn...
I'm not sure what the person above me is saying (bullymangLer), but he sounds like a crazy person.
It's called are direction. I agree with @XiKurapikaKurta the look of a game depends on what type of game the dev's are trying to create and the message/look their going for. R&C and Mario cart are both going for a "cartoony" pixar look and they both succeed in that regard. Don't try to downplay one over the other. Power and the audience who consu...
here I thought it was the dev's not having enough to optimize for the possible PC hardware that their code could encounter. If you will, could you let us know exactly what these targets are when a dev is making a game for consoles vs pc? Cause by the looks of it, most PC games are on console and the same goes for most console games.
A game that was this vague about what it was... gamers imaginations ran wild with expectations, and not I don't think they tried to deceive or lie about what the game was. The prime example of a game that did that was Destiny. I learned from Destiny, I went into NMS with little expectation besides having the ability to leave the planet I spawned on in realtime and travel around the universe.
It's gonna seem like I was studying the images WAY to closely (LOL) but is that some kind of triangle pattern on her leggins, right by her crotch? Like WTF is that suppose to be?! hahaha
yes! before the PS4 came out I had heard the rumor of PS4 games being 1080P vs Xbox One games being 900P... I said, NO WAY! This is 2013, I will not buy a console that cannot output to 1080P. So, I sold all my Xbox systems and games. I said goodbye to all my friends on my friends list, some of them I know IRL. I said "Bye guys, have fun playing your poop games at 900P. 1080P makes all games better!" ... literally has never happened!
If your main reason for choosin...
Nope, don't think he lied. I think most people don't know how online servers and instances work. There's a reason why he says "It's very unlikely that you'll run into someone else". There is the main server, that gets all of your upload info: system/planet/animal/plant names. Then there are servers that house players. If those servers can only hold 100 people in an instance, and those 100 are scattered over such a gigantic area, what are the chances that you woul...
agreed! It's weird, cause it's not the hardware. The architecture isn't exotic or hard to develop on. A part of me is glad that they are willing to delay to get it to where the game needs to be, but another part of me is thinking "another 1st party delay?"
