I'm not really sure what to say... IDK if it's the video/compression but the environments look flat. Car, look fine, nothing spectacular. I'm actually a little baffled at how it looks. GT has always been know for it's realism, feel/drive and even visuals. Gonna have to keep an eye on this, to see how it pans out.
@Bansai Driveclub set a really high bar for fidelity. Gonna be hard for any racing game to surpass it.
I'm sure EA would have loved to partner with PS, but they already have a marketing deal with COD. It could have gone down in multiple ways: EA approached Sony, but Sony can't cause of contract reasons w/Activision. EA approached Sony, but they don't have the marketing budget for it. Xbox approached EA and said "Hey, Sony has COD behind them. Let us help you sell your game". EA approached Xbox. We'll probably never know, but the fact is PS has a deal with COD ad Xbox ...

and that's completely fine. I for one can't understand the praise that Half-Life gets, I played them... I thought they were alright. I also don't know why but I didn't like Skyrim, fantasy/Western RPGs just don't quite do it for me... usually.

I believe it's suppose to launch Dev versions in the 1st quarter of 2016... but at a price of $3000. I think it's great tech, my only issue with is it's name and it's field of view... what you're seeing is not a "hologram".
It should also be noted that I don't think most people know what DX12 is... or what it does.
