I'm downloading it right now, will update once I've gotten and played for a bit.
The type for Tiger Woods is sooo tiny! I have an hdtv and I'm having to move closer. Anyone else noticing this?
If it says full version, I expect the entire game. I don't mind if they charge for extras, but don't let me buy it, only to find out that five levels later I need to add more cash.
That's misleading. Apparently MS has some rule regarding limitations on game size and cost, but this would be remedied if people had known that the full version was, in fact, an extended demo.
I don't care about the comparison chart; they can even use the Core comparison vs their $599 system.
But it's deliberately misleading when they state in their charts "required to buy". A comparison chart with a listing of price is self-explanatory.
I can't wait to hear the stories of people getting sore arms/wrists/shoulders, knockng over lamps or hitting their friends...
I love the Wii but I think Itagaki has a point about the programming. If it gets too repetitive you'll actually get tired and play less.
I'm just picturing people with one giant arm.
"Oh that? That's my Wii arm."
"No, the big one."
"Yeah, my Wii arm".
You mean the 360 is...done for? Because they offer a less expensive console, and a choice of accessories? People won't buy it because there's a power brick that you never see anyway?
You're just being ridiculous. It's like saying people won't buy the Wii because it doesn't play movies. Well, guess what; they're game consoles.
I don't mind them charging for pieces of the game...I for one don't like playing vs. computer, so I wouldn't purchase that add-on.
What I do mind is that it says you're buying the full game for 1,200 points, and it's not. I feel it's misleading. They need to specify what you're unlocking for your 1,200 points.
If you take away the "Requires user to buy", then this would be an almost acceptable chart...because it would simply be a comparison of features.
You put in "requires users to buy", it makes it look like you're buying a broken console.
I understand what you're saying, but I don't agree with you at all. That line was inserted to confuse and mislead people, there's no other reason for it to be there.
Didn't you post something just as bad last night??
Get your jollies elsewhere, buddy.
I got it this evening. And I purchased it with the knowledge of the add-ons that would need to be purchased later, so I'm an informed consumer.
And I like it, but I suck at it. So no need for me to buy the add-on anytime soon. (=
Lots of products have batteries that aren't replaceable, but it's such a waste, not to mention horrible for the environment.
And judging from Sony's battery recall, making them easy to replace would have been a good idea. If they're defective you lose the whole controller.
Can't say it was nice knowing you.
Kotaku is going off about how there's all these little charges built in, and it's not discussed until you hit the level. True?
It should say last years E3. That game didn't show at this years E3, norr did it make an appearance at TGS.
Dante, if you're going to bet on a horse, make sure there's one in the stable.
I like the look of this game, but I'm at work...anyone downloaded and played it yet?
It means that MS really is in the console business for the long haul. I think that's great!
What I liked about it was the non-hostility. Everyone seems to be in general agreement with the current situation, and I can't disagree with them either.
It's practically an advertisement for hackers.
I wasn't much of a fan of the ps2 controller, and was hoping the new one would be an improvement. From the sound of this article I'm not getting that vibe.
But I do want to hear more about the controller...do people playing the games miss rumble? Do they like the motion-sensitivity. How long does a charge last?
It's an interactive movie clip, not really a demo. You choose which character will tell you about the game....and they're not saying anything you don't already know.
I will say that the actual game looks gorgeous. I'm looking forward to playing it.
