So it gets a positive review as a blu-ray player. Well, guess what. I want a game console.
No offense Kingboy, but the exact same thing happened with Assassins Creed.
If Sony did lose MGS, it's their own fault for not paying for the exclusivity rights.
It's the lack of games that's killing Sony right now. The other consoles have games worth playing, and the consoles are cheaper. Sony has an expensive console and no games.
And all I can think of is, why is this happening? Sony had so long to plan, why did it go so poorly? Heads deserve to roll for this debacle of a release.
What are you talking about? He's got figures/charts based on ebay sales. how is this biased?
Of course it's not over for Sony, but I think the evidence is strong that they're not going to hold the same gaming percentage they had with the ps2.
It all comes down to games, and Sony's not showing the gaming love right now.
I liked Forza. Gran Turismo blew after I played Forza. Damage and physics sold me completely on Forza, no way could I go back to GT after that. Even on the PS3 demo all I got was angry. I hit a little piece of string and it's like running into a big rubber wall....and this is how many years later?
I also love the PGR series and Burnout is high on my list as well.
I find the game irritating, as I did with GT4. No damage physics. I run into a little rope to go over the cliff, and it's like hitting a wall.
Live can be fun, but it can also be a cesspool. I've seen so many women "propositioned" that I'm amazed I still see girl gamers at all. And nothing irks me out more than a trash talking nine year old. Also, I've yet to see the camera have a positive effect on Live. Most of the time I'm looking at something I'd rather not see.
Finally, the hardcore gamer. I get on a game and sometimes you're just trying to figure it out, you're new to it. The hardcore gamer has n...
I think the Wii ought to have won. Yes, the ps3 is more powerful. But you know what? The wii made gaming fun.
I've never seen anything like it. I have one I wanted to sell, two weeks of ads in the local classifieds and not one inquiry. And I was asking for offers, not an insanely high amount. And I look over at Ebay and they're selling at cost (or in some cases less)...who's selling them at those prices?
I hate to say it, but looks like I bought my own xmas present this year.
Wow. I understand supporting a product because you want it, but supporting a product because you believe in it...like it's Tinkerbell or something, that I don't get.
You're not helping the gaming industry by blindly supporting a product, because your support allows the company to ignore the flaws...how else do you expect companies to learn from their mistakes?
How you can play this game without rumble. Off-road racing without rumble? This is exactly the type of game rumble was designed for.
I can't stand how people write! It's like reading the opinions of retarded 6-year olds. Use the entire word. Spell! Punctuation! A concise thought! Please people, try not to make your comments looke like the visual equivalent of vomit.
That being said, I'm not into stealth games. I find them to be frustrating, and often find that I have to be stealthy according to the game developers whims, not my own.
How well do MGS games sell, anyway? I had thought their sales ...
What, like a Volkswagen commercial? No thanks.
I don't care who they develop for first, so long as everyone gets some Burnout Love.

I just don't see the reason for the 50meg limitation. You're letting people download movies, tv shows, demos, and trailers that are much larger. At the same time you can download an Arcade game, delete it, and reinstall later at no additional charge when you want to play it again.
I think this is a nice looking game and I think it's amazing that it fits at 50meg, but I just don't understand why MS is imposing this restriction.
It's about time that psychonauts made that list.
Are you implying that we had a good one? Other people have problems too bud, wading through your crap doesn't help.
Irresponsible children get their toys taken away, simple as that.
Most 360 gamers are open-minded. There are some who are not, but those who are not also tend to feel burned by Sony in some way. But there's a vocal minority of both Sony and MS fans, and there always will be.
The PS3's 3.2 GHz Cell processor, developed jointly by Sony, Toshiba and IBM ("STI"), is an implementation to dynamically assign physical processor cores to do different types of work independently. It has a PowerPC-based "Power Processing Element" (PPE) and six accessible 3.2 GHz Synergistic Processing Elements (SPEs), a seventh runs in a special mode and is dedicated to OS security, and an eighth disabled to improve production yields.
