I used to love my Turbografx. I hope they bring Streets of Rage and Tv sports football, they were great fun.

MS will release an Hdmi connection sooner than later, I'm sure. But I think the point was that MS was blamed yesterday for the error.

This doesn't affect me so I'm not 100% certain how or whether this was resolved. But the moral is to not jump to conclusions.

I'm usually in the camp of graphics don't make the game, but I may have to adjust my thinking.

I'm sorry Wii, but I'm expecting a little better than that...especially with a 250 price tag.

I really like the arcade update, and the fact that you can set it for automatic updates with arcade demos

Some of you people have no sense of humour. And this is not something I would ever have thought about, but when you get your electric bill it would certainly grab your attention.

But lesson learned. I always thought it was my ac running up my bill, turns out it's my washer/dryer/fridge/television .

I like to see good news about the ps3...now if only Sony would build enough of them...

If they're dropping Japan's miniscule amount, I can't imagine our console numbers will remain the same.

But I'm more interested in how many they can provide on a weekly basis.

The problem, as power of green noted, is that's a lot of money to be losing. And if there's an unforeseen problem with the production, or manufacturing, that's a loss they're not going to be able to afford.

Blu-Ray was implemented into the PS3 by Sony in order to bolster their movie division. There should have been a unified format so we didn't have two formats out there, but oh well.

I had no idea Sony was losing this much money so early in the console life, though. 1.71 billion dollars?!?

Gears of War releases November 7th. Emergence day is scheduled for the 12th, but that's not the day of release.

I mean, I never even liked MGS. Sony would still have Gran Turismo, Jak and Daxter, Ratchet & Clank, that raccoon thief, final fantasy, ape escape, devil may cry...

It's possible that this game comes to the 360. But if it did I doubt it would be the death of Sony...probably.

When you're talking 100+ million units, keep in mind that during the ps2's lifetime I bought 3 of 'em. Look at software sales to determine the popularity of a console, not the number of consoles sold.

I think the 360 has a console life(before the new one arrives) of about five years.

Technology moves too fast, and the only way to keep up is to adapt. Yes, people say the PS3 will have a ten year life. That doesn't mean there won't be a ps4 sometime in that ten year lifespan.

As for the article, who's to say? In the end the games speak for the consoles, and that's why the Wii is still in this discussion.

Ok, tear rolls down dolls cheek...then back up into doll's eye. Eyes glow. PS3 levitates.

PS3=soul eating console. I'm not trying to flame/troll, I just don't see how anyone could enjoy this ad. And us talking about it is not a good thing, it's not a "win" for marketing.

I took it as the PS3 eats little children's souls. Did you see it levitate at the end? How vampiric is that?

The graphics on this game are fantastic! If this is as good as the graphics get I'm not going to complain, provided the games run silky smooth. At the end of the day I just want great games.

The song is actually a Tears for Fears song, it was covered in Donnie Darko. The cover is what was used for this video.

I'm watching this video and thinking to myself how much unimaginably tragic it is for this guy to see his civilization crumble to ashes...and how lonely it all is. And when you look at it from that perspective, that song just drive the feeling home.

Interesting that this article mentions no one is stepping down. Japanese industry used to be very different, losing face was devastating to the employees and the higher-ups used to resign out of shame that something happened on their watch. There was a genuine belief that you were a worker, and you existed to advance the company. If someone needed to throw themselves on a land mine, that is what you did.

This response closely reflects western business practices...or maybe ea...

Look at it this way...why would high end executives bother to purchase psp's for investigatory purposes at all? Sony has a legal department(obviously), but instead several high end exuecutives decided to use their real names and give their personal information?

Puh-lease, they were using the service for personal use.
