Manipulating scarcity to increase demand for their products is Nintendo's bread and butter. I agree the only winners here are eBay scalpers. Nintendo must love the gray market. I wonder how many Nintendo employees have EBay profiles?
I have Homebrew Channel on my Wii and it's more fun than the Nintendo Channel. IMO let users install what they want. I bought my Wii with homebrew in mind. I would love to have homebrew on my Switch when I get it.
I'm willing to believe that Nintendo might pull ahead with a VR console, and I'm optimistic for the Switch in general, but I doubt they will be doing VR with the Switch. I just don't think it has the horsepower to drive a good VR headset. And a makeshift headset using the Switch's screen wouldn't be as nice as the competition.
Zelda successor indeed. I recognize the Link to the Past tileset.
You guys are smoking crack. Goldeneye 64 and especially Perfect Dark 64 are still awesome games and fun to play. Modern shooters are boring in comparison. I'm tired of bad guys being able to take multiple hits without flinching and continue fighting and then just slumping over dead when you land the final hit. That's not even realistic at all. In this way, the baddies in N64 shooters were much more realistic. You shoot someone in the hand, they drop the gun and hold their hand. You sh...
I can't believe someone actually wrote an article about this.
No. No one need's an equivalent of No Man's Sky.
Hopefully no one will ever make one. For anything. Ever. One resource management spreadsheet nightmare simulation skinned as a cute space sim is enough.
Amazon is choked with scams, period. They don't vet their sellers or police their website at all anymore. I prefer to do my online shopping anywhere else now.
I don't know what version of SMB you were playing, but the eighth castle does have princess toadstool in it. There are a lot of hacked ROMs out there so if you played on an emulator there's no telling if someone trolled you with a rom hack.
I was hoping to play Cyberpunk this year. I have to wait two more years??? For all we know the world could come to an end before then.
Actually I would rather Nintendo stopped making portables altogether and just had a single hybrid device every generation. Putting their entire game library on one device is a good idea.
Think about it. Why do you have to get their console to play Zelda and their portable to play Pokemon? Why? It's just price gouging, forcing you to buy two devices when you could have just one. I would rather spend that money needed for the second device on more games.
Every cell in your body has chromosomes that are either XX or XY. Which means that while you can dress differently, mutilate yourself with surgery, or think you're something you're not, however in reality there is an unequivocal truth written into your being from the day you were born and that will remain until the day you die, whether you like it or not.
The article said this about OoT:
"Moreover, there was no fast-travel option in that game, leaving a lot of the travel to be a little burdensome if you had to go far."
Ocarina did have fast travel, but you had to learn certain songs first as adult Link before you could teleport. Child link spends a lot of time running around yes, but later in the game you can fast travel a lot easier.
Which is a good thing, because if you had to travel a...
I'm trying to find what he said that would merit being fired and I can't. His stance on immigration is correct. Illegals ARE over-running our country. Being conservative isn't a crime and certainly doesn't merit being fired!
If this was a conservative company firing a liberal for being liberal, there would be a mob of SJW's flooding these articles foaming at the mouth, but because it's a conservative being fired for being conservative all the snowfla...
If they release Seiken Densetsu 3 in English I would love to buy a legit copy of it. That alone would be worth the price. It's a shame I've only been able to play it as a pirate.
Uh, no. Not at all. I hate games that implement time limits. Let me do what I want. That's why I'm playing the game.
If you like time limits don't play games. Stay at work. Apparently work is fun for you?
I have only ever played Seiken Densetsu 3 via emulation because as far as I know there has never been an English cartridge for it. It's one of the best games for the SNES and if they officially released it on the Switch as far as I'm concerned it would be a killer app.
*The article makes no mention of this coming to the US. This may be a Japanese re-release and not be in English. Which is sad.
Admit it. You're either trying to get ad revenue from that website you linked, or you are trying to infect machines with cryptolocker so you can sell decryption keys.
BS. Nintendo screwed up both the wii-mote and the wii-mote plus so bad I could barely play Skyward Sword and that's only by re-syncing the controls every 3 or 4 minutes. I have no faith in their ability to do motion controls. Including them in the Switch was a bad decision.
You lost me at "installing the game"
If you're running off a cart, no need to install.
The cart is still faster than the mechanical drive in your Ps4. This was a comparison between carts and SD cards, both of which are faster than your rotating rust.
I own every version of Counter-Strike on Steam. Right now all I play is CS:S. Why? I have two things against CS:GO. One is the competitive gaming movement. I don't play games to win stupid awards (and handing awards to people for playing games is the epitome of stupid) and I don't want to put up with the aggressiveness and bad attitudes that competitive gaming brings. Second is the marketplace. They're trying to sell you crap all the time, and I don't want a storefront in my g...
