The only way this would make sense is if Ninty let the player burn a copy of their digital game to a disc. Then they could put their disc in the box with the correct box art and have a physical copy. This would spare them from the launch day stampede at the game shop and let them play in peace at home via download, and also the convenience of having a physical copy that isn't tied to your online account (which is DRM).

But I'm guessing Ninty isn't doing that. Al...

I played and beat Nox and Vampires: The Masquerade. IMO Vampires is the best game on the list. It really needs a sequel or at least a spiritual successor.

I played Homeworld but wasn't very good at it. I hit a level I just couldn't beat no matter how many times I tried.

I never played freedom fighters.

Asshole game reviewers tell us this with every new game that focuses on motion controls. Every time it's a lie. Stop shilling for gimmicks. I never want to see a motion controller ever again.

Nintendo even tried to revamp their motion controls on the wii with the wiimote plus. It still didn't work. The motion controls in Skyward Sword got messed up every 30 seconds which is why they had a button to instantly reset it on the controller. I had to spam that button to m...

Voice chat has been mandatory for online consoles since the Xbox 1! What adult gamer needs it? I'd say 99.99% of them. Probably everyone except you.

Last gen I had a Ps3 and a Wii. I only played single player games on the Wii because it had no voice chat. On my Ps3 I spent most of my time gabbing it up with my friends in GTA4 and Rainbow 6 Vegas 2. Our biggest aggravation back then was that Ps3 only had in-game voice chat and didn't have it through the OS, where as ...

Voice act anyone except Link. When we play Link we are playing our ideal fantasy hero. We project our idea of who we should be onto him - voice acting him would give him a personality that would conflict with what at least some of us want to be. Silent protagonists are a tabula rasa and that's exactly what Link should be.

Worst case scenario when they give him a script it's made PC to fit with the current climate. It would kill a beloved series for me and probably a...

Wait a new Tomb Raider, and they gave Laura her boobs back? I would totally buy this!!!

The only Tomb Raider I've never played is the recent one with flat Laura. Who wants to play as a flat heroine?

I play a very old game called MajorMUD with my dad. It's a text-based RPG style game but it's unique in that to get anywhere you really need to use the MegaMUD client designed for it. It's a scripting program, and you can set up your character to automatically fight through dungeons, collect loot and gold, auto-sell loot, auto-deposit cash, and keeps track of your exp/hour for you.

90% of the fun is configuring the client to play the game for you. It gets very c...

I don't think there will be a Switch price drop. It's already flying off of shelves at the current price. There's no incentive to lower the price unless inventory is stagnating.

Devs getting in a tizzy over this are probably over-hyping crap and getting upset when their game fails to live up to the hype.

I imagine No Man's Sky caused quite a spike in refunds.

I tried to refund NMS and Steam wouldn't let me. Sadly I spent to long playing the game looking for where the fun was. It took me about 8 hours to realize there was no fun to be found.

If there's a problem with Steam's refund policy, it'...

Steam has over 120 million user accounts.

This is about 0.058% daily. Over the course of a year it would add up to about 20% of user accounts refunding a game.

Refunding 1 game a year is perfectly reasonable.

I love FFVIII's soundtrack. I also like Man with a Machine Gun and I Think I'm a Lion. Fithos Lusec is just awesome too.

When I had my N64 hooked up I liked to listen to Eyes on Me on my headphones while going through the Water Temple in Zelda 64. It made a frustrating dungeon a lot more relaxing.

A new zelda and mario kart is going to really help sell consoles.

If they can push out a new mario galaxy, metroid, or star fox before the end of the year, that will help a lot too.

I think re-releasing mario maker on the switch is a no brainer too.

What lies ahead? Amazon being out of stock for the next 5 years straight because Nintendo's pathetic manufacturing efforts can't meet demand.

They will release their next console having never met demand for the Switch.

They will make excuses for why they can't meet demand for their next console. Accusations that they are deliberately under-producing to hype up their product will continue to be met with angry Nintendo trolls shilling for the co...

Uh.. fantastic? Valve owns Steam. They are bigger, richer, and more successful than Nintendo could ever hope to be.

I don't care what he was yelling. The guy got angry. Stop being a bunch of panty-waisted snowflakes.

I wish him well in the future.

Look at that libtarded face. Lights on and no one's home. If someone like that starts talking in real life you RUN.

Today "girl gamer" is an insult. Tomorrow it's a new gender that requires the right type cable to have sex.

Comparing it to zombie games isn't a comparison. First off they're two very different kinds of undead making it an apples to oranges comparison. Second off 99.99% of zombie games aren't centered around a story driven RPG where you are the zombie.

Vampires: The Masquerade is unique in that regard. Most RPG's don't have you play a villian. Particularly the undead kind.

A vampire character in an RPG like Elder Scrolls comes close, but the...

Uh... Yes.

The best vampire game PC has seen so far has been Vampires: The Masquerade. And it's pretty mediocre by today's standards.

Author of the article must be a liberal PC toad because he's drawing a completely wrong conclusion than what the Dev said. If you read the quotes in the article the Dev flat out says Ashes of the Singularity won't run on consoles. Then the author says consoles have nothing to do with it.

Lol. Keep your heads up your asses MSM.
