Dynasty Warriors is in the same situation as any other series out there. Either improve on what you do right, and appease the fans, or change everything completely and try to get new fans.

Agree with all you guys, and I think DW7 is the best addition to the series so far. Reviews that say DW7 changes nothing clearly haven't played the game properly. Either that, or they've never played the older games and just assume the bias stance every other website has when it comes to DW.

This is actually a very insightful review of the game, and this guy comes into it with no bias (as it should be).
Honestly didn't think Arrival was as bad as some people say. Think it was partly due to some peoples reaction to DA2, when it became cool to hate on Bioware for a few days.
Arrival is short, no doubt, but it has some great fights and a couple of great plot moments. The only real complaint I have is the blandness of some of the level design

It's a must buy if you like the series, it's definitely the best yet. The main feature are the story modes, there are 4 separate ones that take 5-8 hours each to complete. Then there's Conquest mode which is essentially a mode where you take on missions and build up characters.
If you've never played Dynasty Warriors before I'd say this is the best place to start, details the history and story the game is based on better than any other game in the series

I think Kazuma should be held in the same regard as Chuck Norris and the rest of them. Seriously, I can't think of many character in this generation of gaming that could stand up to Kiryu
Great news, P3 was like one of the last great games on PS2... Then Atlus released P4 too, which is just as amazing. This game seems like it would convert will onto handhelds, since the gameplay is quite fragmented.
Hope it gets a digital release on PSN too
I agree, if they actually stuck with the ME universe itself, it could actually be a good movie, especially since the universe is so rich... I'm guessing some good stories could be told
It's a pretty stupid way to look at it anyway. If easy and normal weren't quite easy, where the hell do new players go to level up? If easy featured enemies that attack individually and break your combos, it would be reeeally annoying for new fans of the series.

I have to agree in the sense that I liked KZ2 multiplayer more than KZ3 multiplayer... And with the point you made about GG changing things up due to complaints from people who probably didn't even buy KZ3.
However I do think gamers just love to complain about any little thing lol, like people have said, being a developer these days essentially means you can't win 100% since there will always be one or two fools on a forum somewhere bashing the hell out of your game :...
After Mass Effect 2 being absolutely amazing, I can't see ME3 going wrong. However, I do hope Bioware manage to find a balance between what fans liked in ME1, and in ME2. That probably means more customization in terms of weapons and armour. Maybe a few more RPG elements and exploration elements would work well too.
Looking into getting this today, it's a lot of fun in co-op.
Yakuza 4 deserves all the high scores it gets, it's a massively overlooked game (in the west anyway). This review does a great job of pointing out the flaws that could be improved upon though.

Would give Capcom a bit of a boost with its fans if it is. BoF was an amazing series, BoF IV was one of the greatest yet one of the most overlooked RPGs of the Playstation generation.
