Sweet, I just hope it's as good as the Shadow Broker... and as long.
That was a really well written Review, nice one.
I agree with a lot of your points, especially the lack of different locations and the lack of a true antagonist. Fair enough, the leaders of the Templars/Mages and the Qunari are interesting in their own right, but I felt we didn't get enough of them to make us hate them, or have any true motivation to bring them down.
But like you I enjoyed the game a lot despite it's flaws. I think Bioware will defi...
That's slightly ridiculous.
But at the same time, it shows how much of a timeless game Oblivion was; if people are still playing it today. Hell, I wouldn't mind having a quick bit of exploration on it right now
AC:B is a good game, no denying that, but best game ever? I can think of dozens of games that have better stories and characters.
Each to their own, the writer obviously adores the game (and I can see why, I suppose) but lavishing it with this amount of praise seems over enthusiastic lol
This is just what I wanted to see!
Totally agree - if controllers are going to change, just improve on the previous model with whatever is necessary.
I think since most of us gamers today have always known a controller, it'll be hard if not impossible for the industry just to drop the whole idea of a standard controller.
I totally agree. I love the game and the characters, but the worst thing - by far - are the dungeons. Once you get into the second act of the game seeing the same freaking cave again really starts to grind on you
Played FF8 again on my PSP not long ago. It still plays great and the graphics look dated but still have the charm they did originally. Games as good as FF 7/8/9 tend to stay great, I think
The mobile version of Facebook works fine on the PS3 browser - just putting that out there.
But yes the normal Facebook doesn't even function on the PS3 browser. Hell, lots of sites don't function - and unless it's an embedded Youtube video, the browser usually can't play it at all.
Really wish they'd update the browser, it's embarrassing that relatively cheap mobile phones have better working browsers than the PS3.
Great, but I'm still waiting on info about this 'Arrival' DLC. I really hope Bioware don't make it as disappointing as DA:O's final DLC was... Witch Hunt... Ugh. Left a bitter taste after such a good game.
I'm part of that 22%. It's a great game, really enjoying playing it.
It seems DA2 has done extremely well sales-wise, despite the negativity from many gamers and a good few reviews
I'd love for this series to come to the west, anything Yakuza related is awesome.
I think Yakuza 4 should do quite well sales-wise, with all the trailers and viral marketing that I've seen. Hopefully it's enough to convince Sega to release Kenzan
Your opinion might be split on this game, but no way in hell does this deserve anything under a 7.
Hurray! The only reason I've held back on getting WKC was due to me hoping the 2nd one came with the first when it was eventually released - and it does. Sweeeet
Nightmare is really quite hard. Like Kasasensei said, it's made harder due to the fact your team mates will screw you over more than once. I've spent a good deal of time setting up complex tactics/ positioning long range/short range attacks/ learning to buff just at the right time... But even after all that, if Isabella suddenly decides to wade into 4-5 enemies, it blows it all to hell.
It really is. The game throws a lot at you in the beginning and essentially makes you slog through the dirty work of being a sword for hire in the city. It's still fun, but the meat of the game happens about 2-3 hours in.
Complaining about no change in gameplay is the number one excuse reviewers use to mark a game down that they personally don't like.
If they're reviewing a game they do like, lack of gameplay changes are never mentioned.
'What's Japanese for Deja Vu?'
Just piss off IGN.
Agree completely. They're not bad sales for your usual game, or a new IP; but for Killzone 3, they should be higher.
I mean... come on, Black Ops again? Really? How much does one game need to sell? I can't help but think gamers are to blame here.
A couple of those deserve to be in there... Some really don't.
