Hopefully this means one of the main characters gets destroyed at the end of the game.
So what happens when PS4/ next Xbox are released? Will Nintendo release another console so multiplatform games can still come to a Nintendo console?
Ouch. Big move by Bethesda. On one hand, you're right, this could mean that the console versions are of a high standard with less bugs, etc.
On the other hand, it will be left to modders to bring out the game's potential on PC.
They definitely have the characters to do it. I'd buy it without a second thought
Kratos in Mortal Kombat, now Cole in SF x Tekken. Makes you wonder if Sony could put together a PlayStation brawler similar to Nintendo's Smash Bros. series.
70 million lifetime sales is very healthy, especially with the fact that this was Sony's first foray into handhelds. Coupled with the fact it had to compete with the unstoppable DS, this is really an achievement.
I'm glad I didn't just imagine that whole thing at Ubisoft's last E3
Yeah, 8:30pm. Here's a link to the Gamespot stream:

I hate to say it, but this was a very poor conference. It was essentially a replay of last year's E3. Microsoft started out well but once the casual Kinect games started rolling out it killed the hype completely.
Very disappointing from Microsoft, they're just begging to get ripped apart by Kinect jokes... Especially with Sesame Street
I couldn't agree more, took the words out of my mouth with that last paragraph.
The first time I did those cases I was sitting there thinking 'I don't think any of these guys are the culprits. There's always a hole' - yet the game forces you into making a judgement. LA Noire does a really good job of making an extremely linear game look like it's got branching options.
There really isn't any middle ground between right and wrong. I...
Damn, people will become impatient at this rate, just like with Versus. Although... it's hard not to get impatient when games get announced literally years prior to any kind of information.
I would love to see something of Agent. Sony can benefit massively from an exclusive R* game, and if Agent is good enough, it would mean big things. Even a trailer would do for the most part.
Enjoyed the demo for of The End, would love to see a western release at some point. Suppose it partly depends on the success of Yakuza 4, although you could argue that a zombie/ gunplay emphasized game would appeal more to a western audience.
I could not agree more with your post, and I think the exact same thing everytime I see an ad here in the UK.
I see a UK PS3 ad, complete with that atrocious accent slapped all over it and I cringe. That is NOT something an advert should be trying to achieve
That's what's getting to me the most... I mean can't we just see some kind of gameplay demo after all this time? At this point they seem to purposely be holding it back from the gaming public.
I'm trying not to get my hopes up for it making an appearance at E3, but we'll just have to wait and see.
The Skyrim trailer is inspirational enough. I think having a city full of it would be pretty epic - make everyone feel like a hero
CG is all well and good, but look at FFXIII. Good game, but you have to wonder after seeing that gorgeous CGI that maybe some of those resources could have been diverted into other things...
Personally, I like it when games have game engine cutscenes. It's a good opportunity to show off a how good your engine can look, and it doesn't take near as much time as creating CGI from scratch.
Now this is the kind of stuff I wouldn't mind seeing on the side of buildings all the time.
You make a good point, I mean no game can really ever be 'perfect', which is what a 10/10 score insinuates.
But then the argument of personal preference comes into it, in which case there can be no perfect game on any level lol
And I agree, LA Noire is refreshing. It's one of few games that I wouldn't mind watching other people play through, just to see how they react
I really don't want Square Enix to attempt to make a sequel to any of the great FF games. That includes VII
