If it's not PlayStation 4 then Sony is retarded for following some superstitious BS:
http://japanese.about.com/b...
I don't think they're too worried about the number 4. It's pretty prominent here:

And here's Sony XBA-4 earbuds:
R:FoM's story telling and multiplayer (besides a couple unbalanced weapons in Ranked) were excellent.
You made some good points, but I disagreed because you said Borderlands should be on the list.
R:FoM was a beast.. only 6th on this list, but plenty deserving of the cover pic.
I'd remove R6V and probably Doom 64 and Turok 2 for a Bad Company (love the characters), Halo, and a Killzone. I also don't agree on the order of the list, but overall not too horrible. Better than a lot of other Top 10s.
Edit: People below saying Portal. Portal is a great franchise, but you're not really shooting anyone. It's a puzzle game.
Funny Bubs+ @ Braid.
77 is mediocre when most grade on a scale of 50-100 or 60-100. And I base what I buy on gameplay for the most part, with a bit of story and graphics thrown into the mix; not on review scores or else I'd own Peggle and Pacman and waste hundreds on sports games every single year.
The gameplay doesn't look all that great, the story looks forgetable at best. Reviewers collectively think it's worse than The Darkness, Prototype, Yakuza 3 & 4, and Call of Juarez: BiB...
I don't understand your point.
People overhyping mediocre games and making a comment pointing it out is killing the industy? Hasn't gaming pretty much been at an all-time high this gen anyway with what 160+ million DS', almost 100mil Wii, combined nearly 130mil 360/PS3s, however many PSPs are out there, I'll pull the number 70mil OOMA, plus probably 30-40mil+ PS2s in that span also, I don't see how a statement about hyping games is killing an industy that ...
Another thing I was never sure of is if being kicked in UC2 also counted as a loss. It seemed like it did, but I didn't track each match to know for sure. You could accidentally kill a teammate and they kick you, again more unearned losses (assuming kicks were losses). Or you could have a teammate kill you while you're capping a treasure, you get a little revenge the next time, they kick you and another unearned loss if that's how it worked.
Plunder was one of my ...
Then they should add a Disconnects stat instead of automatically counting them as losses when they're not.
Some people get legitimate disconnects and it's not fair to give them losses just because their router or whatever decides to lose connection for a couple seconds or whatever leads to a disconnect.
And if they're that much of a loser that they need to quit for stats and can't take a bad match, then anyone that matters or cares will eventu...
"If you leave a game, disconnect, or turn off your PS3 mid-game, it will be counted as a loss."
That's the main reason I stopped playing Uncharted 2. I'm on wireless and get disconnected not a ton, but a decent amount of times. I was playing to win..

There's rarely, if ever, 8 "Must Have" games in a month. This month is no exception.
-Only talking PS3 & PS3 multiplats below-
There are a couple that look decent, but only 1 on my personal 'list'. Max Payne 3 [May 15th] looks to be the only game I'd recommend that's coming out in May. And that's still my maybe list, since I need to see a bit more. It's reminding me too much of Stranglehold now though, which I thought...
"one of the toughest ribbons in the game was getting the 5 turret kills in a round or whatever...those things where worthless in KZ2"
It could be hard, depending where you put them, who you're playing, and how long the match is. But it's not too hard if you consider matches can be hours long. It could be 7? rounds in a match and up to 30 minutes each. Not too hard to get 5 in two-three and a half hours. Also not too hard if you have them near objectives the ...
KZ2 (and 3) MP seemed to 'cater to the little 12 year olds' already, so I don't get your point. Turrets killing for you, air support killing for you, 1hit bodyshot sniper while being invisible, enemies shown as teammates, running around at 80mph, etc.
KZ2 matchmaking? Yea, because custom Ranked boosting lobbies are a good thing. /s
Strongly disagreed with Battleaxe. Keep em coming. They're plenty playable for Campaign, Specs Ops, Zombies, etc. at the sub $20 range. Just don't be a sucker paying $60 + map packs every year and you'll be alright. I think the MP is the biggest trash since moldy sliced bread, but again, the rest is plenty playable once the price comes down.
I doubt they're worried about the franchise surviving if it's basically the best selling game every single year and ...
"Oh I haven't played these games but I think it's fine for me to say they're horrible because I watched a couple minutes of gameplay on youtube."
If you read my first sentence, you'd see your post is useless and pointless. I said these lists are subjective. I have ZERO interest in those games I said I had no interest in, because I don't like that genre.
Yes, IMO, they look horrible as in they are very much dated and boring (IMO) ...
If I had to make a top 8, without thinking too much, I'd probably go with ones that are more modern in playability and are great overall experiences IMO.

I saw it when it was pending approval, but didn't comment because these lists are too subjective. Nobody's played every single game, people prefer different genres than others, etc. So it's really impossible to make a definitive list.
There are also plenty of ways you could define greatest. Greatest for their time? Sure, then Pacman or Asteroids could be on people's lists, but are they really that good by today's standards? As good as Super Mario 64 may ha...

2 words: Complete Edition
Wait for it if you want everything on disk without the extra price. I will be.
Already have the GTAIV, RDR, and LA Noire complete editions, so it's pretty much guaranteed this will get one too.
You're right that they don't have a choice with 4GB, but my point was on how prominent the 4 is in that packaging. Instead of just saying it's a 4GB card; it's screaming 4.
Also, they could have named those earbuds any name. 4 is just the amount of drivers in it, but it could be named the Sony Tatertots earbuds with four drivers in the specs. There's no requirement there.
IV would still be read as 4, so your point on that makes no differen...
