I had to log in just to tell you that your comment was retarded.
Where the hell did you come up with people that don't want to buy online passes "drop 10 bucks a week at the movie theater to watch every crappy 90 min. movie that comes out."?
I'm pretty sure there is zero link between the two and there may be about 7 people worldwide that fit into the category of regularly buying Used games, not wanting to pay for online passes, yet go to the...
That and it took them 11 pages to name the 10 games...
These (4 & Code Veronica X) should be released on disk like all the other HD collections. I think Japan is the only place getting them on disk for now.
Then they should make it a #/10 or ##/100 scale instead of #/5.
I think I remember running over some Zebra.. that's about it.
I forgot all about the price drop.
$249 from $299 just isn't that significant to the general consumer. It looks nearly the same.
$199 is when it will really heat up again. $249 is still a great price point for a PS3 though.
Intelligent comment by newleaf.
R3 also didn't make vgchartz's preorder top 20 (however credible you take that to be).
It was also behind most games releasing well after it on Amazon (up until 1-2 weeks before release). A month away from release it was ranked 60-80th out of PS3 games, with games like Battlefield 3, MW3, Skyrim, Batman, Uncharted 3, Fifa, Dark Souls being in the top 20-30, yet releasing 1-2 months afterward.
The initial trailers made it look a hell of a lot better than the actual gameplay.
The intro video is awesome, but then you get to that ridiculous "Who do you voodoo, bitch" song and it's downhill from there.
My Top 10 most wanted would probably be:
Half-Life 3
Metal Gear Solid 5
Metal Gear Solid 1 remake
Test Drive: Eve of Destruction 2 (with the original remastered)
Red Dead Redemption 2
Grand Theft Auto V
Heavy Rain 2 (or new IP from QD)
Just Cause 3
Resistance 0 (prequel to FoM with FoM gameplay)
God of War IV
Good list. The only change I'd make is replace Bayonetta 2 with Half-Life 3 or a Heavy Rain follow-up.
Yep, very scruby gameplay. Mostly shotgun and a bit of Atomizer.
Or just delete things like old Game data or demos you haven't played in years.
I don't know why people talk like there's an absolute eventual limit like this.
Haven't played GTAIV in a long while? Delete game data, 5GB free, done. (an example, don't know if GTAIV is specifically a 5GB install)
It's not lag.. it's the lack of ability to maintain your aim on a target and go for headshots.
The shotty part from DFogz is another story.
If you knew Resistance, you'd know there's still very many differences between R3's "Classic Hardcore" and R:FoM.
It's a step toward Skilled/Competitive gameplay, but it still needs another step:
The disabling of weapon upgrades to not give advantages of stronger weapons to more experienced players, and to remove or limit issues with the upgraded secondary weapons.
Then it will be a fairly Skilled and Competitive mode, but wi...
FunAndGun, the first knowledgeable comment I've seen so far on this news piece.
I don't play Elder Scrolls or RPGs in general much, but I support this. I did play Oblivion for a bit.
Needing to repair items is just an annoyance IMO. Another example of this that just popped into may head is Far Cry 2, where you constantly have to repair you car after it gets shot a few times. Is it more realistic? Maybe a little bit, but the annoyance factor goes way beyond any small amount of added realism.
I agree with your last paragraph, but all 3 games in the franchise have health regen online.
There's no health packs online in RFoM.
You don't know what you're talking about. The extra year didn't do a damn thing to help the game or give fans want they wanted.
Last time I checked, RFoM fans didn't want all the restrictions of R2 and then some. R2 fans didn't want co-op removed. Resistance fans didn't want CoD-like Killstreak rewards, etc.
You're talking out of your @ and your 1st and 3rd paragraph contradicting each other proves it.
GT5
I don't know how you have twice as many agrees as disagrees beyond how dumb a lot of the members are here on N4G. Where did you come up with Forza owning the rights to Ferrari? There's plenty of Ferraris in GT5.

Why did you put tags for 3DS, DS, and PSP when there are no deals for them?
There's also some mistakes on the article. For example, Metal Gear Solid HD Collection shows a $5 credit for the PS3 version and a $10 credit for the 360 version, when they're both just $5. It also notes that the $5 is good toward MGS:Rising (and assumingly not a generalized credit toward any future purchase).
