Wow. Tearaway for $17.99! Definitely picking this up!
Thank you! And yeah, I thought about doing that. But I've never reviewed episodic games like this, so I wanted to experiment and see if it's something I can do... effectively, I guess. If that makes sense. I'm sure that, once every episode is done with, I'll go back and write a review of whether or not the season as a whole was good. Anyway, I'm glad you enjoyed the review!
I just want it already!
Glad you enjoyed it! :D
I lol'ed.
Luckily, this semester I only had 1 class that had a final. Needless to say, the other days I spent merrily (had to be seasonal) gaming :D
Lmfao! Preach.
Is this game going to be in the style of the original Budokai games or will it be like the Tenkaichi games? Because I love the former and hate the latter.
Oh sweet! I'll pick it up and save it for later then :D
That chapter in The Last of Us was so amazing. After that chapter, TLOU was cemented as one of my favorite games this generation.
Still need to pick this up for my Vita, but Persona 4 Golden is really hindering my ability to play anything else...
While Uncharted will no doubt be a blockbuster title, I agree that Naughty Dog should focus on another IP. I always feel like trilogies are where franchises should end. Few that go past a trilogy are ever successful... not to say that Naughty Dog doesn't have the ability to do it, because they do.
Another thing that I found weird with the Uncharted reveal was that it's, so far, only "Uncharted." No subtitle or number. To me, that feels as if they are trying ...
The Division... *drools*
And DriveClub looks pretty slick, but I am excited for Codemasters to make another DiRT game! DiRT 3 is easily my favorite racing game to date.
Nice blog!
Demon's Souls is such a great game. I remember renting it out of curiosity when it first released. I got to that first boss fight and died almost immediately... I wondered if I would ever be able to defeat him, then quickly realized that death was a core mechanic within the game. Demon's Souls really made me change my perspective on how I think about and play video games.
Since then, I play almost every video game on its' hardest diffic...
Was Kinect ever the "next big thing?" I feel like most people, at least the average consumer, looked at it as the Wii without a controller. And since most people already chose Wii as their motion-controlled console, no one really cared about the Kinect.
I agree with you. MP3 playback was nice, but isn't all that important to me. Video playback from a storage device is more important, but I still have my PS3, and I'm sure that feature will be added later on.
And the cross-game voice chat works perfectly with my experience. I play ACIV a lot while my friends (that own PS4's anyway) play BF4, and there's no problems at all.
As of right now, I am not sure about the screenshots transferring from system to system as long as the accounts match up. Honestly, I doubt they would because they aren't being stored to the cloud or anything.
As for transferring them to a storage device like a flash drive, I don't think that works either. I plugged in my external HDD to see if there was an option to transfer, but, unfortunately, there wasn't. :/ Sorry you have to lose your screens, man.
I know that it's after the fact, but The Walking Dead is now a Vita game; so I wouldn't completely count out handhelds.
Those are Duracell batteries... not Energizer. *facepalm*
While considering games for this list of mine, I went with games that met at least one of a few criteria. While The Last of Us is a phenomenal game, -- it's one of the few, along with Ni no Kuni, that I consider Game of The Year worthy -- to me, it didn't really feel like a game that needed to be on this list. It's more of a game that resides in the category of "games that ought to be played," rather than a festive game.
