I agree. The point of this blog is exactly that. Most graphics are definitely above par now and I think developers don't need new hardware to create special and unique experiences.
This has to be a MGS title... I want it to be a MGS title. I need it to be.
Right at the beginning, when the supposed Snake is looking at his prosthetic arm, the white leaves from the fight with The Boss in MGS3 are falling in front of him. To me, that was the immediate giveaway.
That's a bummer. Luckily, my family is pretty supportive of whatever I choose to be. Although I keep hearing there aren't many jobs in this field, but I disagree. It's not like they follow video games as closely as I do.
I also fear that my writing will be limited in college, but I recently got accepted to my college of choice for Journalism so it might be alright.
And thanks!
That was the most exciting 7 seconds of my life...
Actually though, I want to play this game a lot.
This makes me a little worried, as I was just accepted to my college of choice but I definitely do not want to sacrifice the time I spend playing games. I like to think that I am a pretty fast learner, and hopefully my game time will not be cut due to the amount of work I get.
I can't believe you cut GTA4 and Skyrim from your list. Really great games.
Shame.
Honestly the main game was good enough for me and I own a PS3. Even if I owned an Xbox, I don't think I would buy any DLC unless it opened up a new landmass.
I think that this is the first video where IO showed 47 talking. Sounds great, glad they got the original voice actor back.
Drebins' Shop sort of defeated the purpose of exploring for ammunition though.
I want to watch this so bad..... I can't bring myself to do it though. I can wait 2 and a half more days... maybe.
What about Assassin's Creed 3?! But yes, this game does look absolutely amazing and is definitely a day one buy for me as well.
I should have said, "New to me."
This little series by IGN is great! I really hope all of these changes revamp this series and bring it back to its former glory(Assassin's Creed 2).
Fiber wire is still very much in this game. The map is still there as well, just in the form of instinct. It makes the experience much more streamlined and doesn't detract from the experience by forcing the player into a menu/map screen.
I am really excited for this game! I've always wanted to learn more about 47 and where his personal journey will lead him. Hopefully this game answers the majority of my questions!
I don't hope that this "dethrones" Deus Ex, I hope that it matches it at least. Because this game really is looking amazing and, if it is as good as it seems, deserves to be talked about for years to come!
Playing through Deus Ex: HR with stealth was a joy. Great game. I like this games setting much better though and the story interests me more as well.
I got to the hidden achievements and just continued to scroll. Definitely don't want this game ruined for me XD
Dishonored will hopefully be amazing! Can't wait for Hitman: Absolution either, but that's November.
I don't know how Army of Two snuck it's way onto this list, but maybe that's just because I am not an Army of Two fan. The rest are definitely on my radar though.
