I thought the Snake-like stitching on The Boss' chest was from a failed pregnancy or something? I could be wrong, but I thought that was explained.
Other than that though, very interesting read. I'm excited to see where MGSV takes the series.
Lol I hope this is an April Fools joke... just would show the lengths Rockstar is willing to go to troll their fans XD
The only one I won't be buying is Saints Row. Watch_Dogs looks amazing from what we've seen, and even though we haven't seen much of GTA V, I have complete faith in Rockstar to make a phenomenal game.
I agree. I really hope that both games will have next gen iterations, but Rockstar and Kojima Productions would be silly to not release some sort of version on current gen systems. So many people already own the PS3/360, and not everyone will buy the PS4/NextXbox day one.
With what we've seen from both games, I think that to live up to their full potential they need to have a next gen release, but who knows? Maybe both devs have pulled off some sort of technical trickery ...
GTA V? Metal Gear Solid V? I mean, those could be next-gen as well, but they're most definitely coming to this gen.
This game looks amazing, but I legitimately hated watching this guy play... He seemed so clueless.
I hope that there's no Jak 4... I really loved that franchise, and I thought it ended pretty much perfectly. I hope Naughty Dog makes a different IP that we can fall in love with, rather than revisit something that's long done.
I think it's easier, and more logical, to categorize which games are the best this generation by genre. It would still be really difficult, but narrowing down the list could possibly bring an overall winner after the sub-divisions have been made.
My personal favorites are Bioshock Infinite, MGS4, RDR, and Dark Souls.
Even though I didn't understand a lot of the conference-- the technical aspects and engine design-- I did think that the view dependent roughness was really impressive. All of the lighting looks extremely real, and what's more impressive is that this game is coming to current generation consoles! (Supposedly).
This is great! I get that it's just one game, but what confuses me is that Ground Zeroes is the Prologue, while The Phantom Pain is the main game. Because Kojima said (and I'm paraphrasing here), 'TPP will be the tutorial level, starting from a crawl.' But if TPP comes after GZ, then why is the tutorial then? I'm thinking flashbacks or something. I am accepting other theories though haha! :D

I still need to finish Bastion, but this game looks pretty interesting!
Honestly, both faces look pretty amazing. The nVidia one would be more impressive if the actor wasn't bald, but regardless it looks very nice.
I really hope that there's a lot of interior space in this game, along with the exterior space. I want it to feel like Chicago. I want to see the sights that I've seen in real life, and I'm hoping, that with next-gen systems, this will be possible. It's all very exciting!
That engine produces "Classified!" images so well!
Seriously though, I just want to see more of Ground Zeroes and The Phantom Pain. GDC can't come soon enough.
How neat is that?
That's not hypno-toad. It's Rango, from the animated film. I think whoever posted this was playing on the fact the next Xbox is codenamed 'Durango.'
Thanks! Can't wait, any news on MGS is exciting news! :D
Does anyone know if and/or where this event will be live streamed?
I spent many hours on Battlefront 2. Such a great game! If this actually rallies the developers to produce a third, I'd be pretty pumped for it :D
