In no particular order:
The Last of Us
Grand Theft Auto 5
BioShock Infinite
Watch_Dogs
And any new IP's announced at E3
Should be a great year!
Thief has already done all of these things, minus the silent protagonist. Really, Dishonored drew from a lot of things that Thief originally did, but put its' own spin on them. And that's why Dishonored was such a success, and why the new Thief will probably be one as well.
Deus Ex: Human Revolution.
If they fix the server problems and expand the map sizes, I'll probably buy it sometime down the road. I really wanted this game to be great... too bad.

@Ducky
I agree that at the beginning, he made valid points with his good bad criticisms. But some things in games are either objectively good, or objectively bad. Like smooth mechanics and technical performance.
Then he went on to label things that are good and bad in a compiled list. In that compiled list, he put those mechanical and technical things, but he also put in more subjective things that each player will interpret differently. Like the story and, i...
Yes he did say that it barely stayed within the boundaries, but what are the boundaries? If games have set limits and boundaries, then all we end up with are politically correct pieces of a very boring pie.
And it bugs me that it affected his overall score... because it's really a subjective thing, when he's supposed to be as objective as possible with the review. Like, for me, that trophy isn't going to change how I look at the game at all. He has the right to g...
The Adam Sessler review of this game is what inspired me to write this. Usually, I agree with most of what Sessler says, but the 'borderline' comment really got to me...
And I forgot about Hercules. Easily one of the most brutal deaths in any game. I agree with that 100%.
I can't wait! Seriously, if this actually tops God of War 3, I'll be super impressed. Contender for best action game of the year and, possibly, the generation.
The subtitles are surrounded in a black box that really blocks a good portion of the screen. Also, the text is multi-colored for every character... which doesn't make sense at all. Trust me, they're probably the worst subs I've seen.
I just finished the campaign today and had a blast with it. Pretty much the only bad thing I can say about the single player experience is the subtitles... I usually play my games with subs on, but this games' subtitles were just terrible. That's hardly a thing to gripe about though considering how fun of a journey this game was. Hopefully some sequels hit in the coming years that expand this new Lara!
Nice review! Was thinking about writing one myself, but you beat ...
You just described Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood...
GTA 5 is advancing; three playable characters with interconnected story lines. New, heist style missions. Plus, knowing Rockstar, that'll be just the tip of the iceberg for this GTA. Say what you want about Rockstar and GTA, but they know how to make a fun game, and it is definitely advancing.
I don't think they were all terrible. The Sly Collection was pretty nice, save for having to exit the entire game to choose a different episode. By itself, Chaos Theory HD was fun. Same thing with Blood Money HD. But as a collection, they weren't really worth it. Better to just buy them separately off the PSN.
Also, The ICO/Shadow of The Colossus HD Collection was fantastic. Really improved both games visually, and technically.
I've commented on almost every one of these March Release things; I can't stress enough how much I want to play SimCity... but my poor, wheezing PC just won't allow it.
It's the weekend. And to make it worse, it's Sunday. Nothing, at least concerning video game news, happens on the weekend, and especially Sundays. :/
Edit: But this was a pretty good list and worth 2 minutes of my time.
Yes! I have so many hilarious, original, breathtaking, jaw-dropping, knee-slapping multiplayer moments! I can totally enter and win! ...wait... I live in America. -_-
B-b-but... what does this mean for thatgamecompany?! I mean, I'm sure Giant Squid Studios will produce an amazing game... but it seems like thatgamecompany lost a few really key people on their team to form the new studio.
I'm assuming you live in Europe? Because in the US Sly came out in early February.
I wish my computer could handle current games... cause SimCity looks like a lot of fun. Guess I'll just have to settle for Tomb Raider, GoW: Ascension, and Bioshock Infinite.
I'll buy this. Just waiting for the fateful day Kingdom Hearts 3 gets announced... if ever.
