Near future? So I can expect information in about the same time as I can expect my jet-pack.
Stealth achievements are the best achievements :D
I'm not sure how Twitch's chat system works or the amount of bandwidth each message takes up, but I'm almost positive this channel is destroying other channels chats. In a channel with less than 300 people, 2 out of every 3 of my messages wouldn't show up to the majority of the chat, including the streamer. Yes this is a neat idea, but if it affects other people's ability to chat coherently, I'd say it's not worth it. Especially considering that Red gets nowhere fa...
Thank you, CD Projekt RED... the potion system in The Witcher 2 seemed so vital, but so counter-intuitive. Going into a fight, I would think of a potion that would really help me half way through, but I couldn't just sit down and make it in the middle of combat. This new metabolism feature seems really useful, and will hopefully make using potions much more simple and effective.
I don't want to know EVERYTHING, I just want to see some gameplay footage I can drool over until the game is released :)
*THIS COMMENT CONTAINS SPOILERS*
I stayed up until 6 am playing Left Behind on Survivor on the day it was released, and it was totally worth it.
I agree on a couple points you made, the first being the ending. I wanted to witness the change that occurred as Riley became an infected. I wanted to see the emotional despair that Ellie would have went through watching her closest friend turn into a monster, and knowing that she has to kill her. Still, even though ...
It's been too long since I've had a fresh Metal Gear game. March 18th can't come soon enough!
Hotline Miami 2... *mouth starts to water*
GS: "David Hayter, who had portrayed the character since the original Metal Gear Solid in 1988." 1988... *facepalm*
I think about it like this: the main game will last me, according to almost every source, around two hours. Then there are the five side operations that Kojima talked about, I'd be willing to wager that those will last me another couple hours. Then there's the missions exclusive to either the PS4 or Xbox One, and probably easter eggs or secrets around the game world. All of this, combined with top-notch gameplay and trophies will definitely hold my attention for at least six to seven ...
I love MGS. I was going to get the physical version of this on the PS4, but knowing that the main missions only last around two hours, I'll probably just get digital. I know the game will last me much longer than two hours, what with side missions, bonus missions, and secrets. Not to mention trophies. So I think that $30 seems reasonable even if it only lasts me about seven or eight hours.
I created multiple accounts just so I *could* agree more! So excited for this game!
Disclaimer: No I didn't, but it's the thought that counts.
One of my most anticipated games! I doubt it'll come out in 2014 though, especially with Watch_Dogs coming from Ubisoft this year.
One Twitter post later and this game is doomed forever to be in the shadow of Assassin's Creed (Pun intended). Assassin's Creed is a great series (mostly), and I'm hopeful that Shadow of Mordor will also be great. But, personally, I won't be comparing it to AC because they seem like completely separate things. Assassin's Creed games have a lot of content in them, so it's unlikely that a third-person, open-world, action game wouldn't be similar in some aspects or an...
lol Twin Snakes.
Wow! That is a serious amount of options that can be customized! I am so pumped for this game; my stealth itch has gone unscratched for far too long.
"Focus Mode" can be turned off at any time in game. Not only can this feature be turned off, but things like the map, health bar, light gauge, and object highlights can be turned off. This, combined with a variety of difficulty settings seem to be tailored to those of us who want to play the game bare-bones.
Really excited for this game!
Lol, my thoughts exactly. (Commented literally seconds after your post XD)
Granted, it does look quite similar. But, honestly, how else is one supposed to walk across a rope or climb on a ledge? AC is just one of the first games to make it look natural, so if Shadow of Mordor wants it to feel natural, it's no surprise that they look similar in these aspects.
The title of this article is somewhat misleading, as Techland said that it plays like a traditional zombie game during the day, not the night.
OT: I am getting pretty excited for this game, even though it's made by the same people that made Dead Island, which I didn't enjoy that much. This seems much more promising.
