Yeah, I agree. I thought idolizing the Helix Fossil was pretty funny and whatnot. But actually sitting there for hours on end watching the character struggle in a simple battle eats away at my soul.
I wonder if this will every die out? Like, I can understand people wanting to join in on the experience the first time around, to see if it could even be accomplished. But now, I don't really see the point in it.
I don't know, maybe I'm the only one who doesn't like watching Pokemon Trainer struggle through ten days of gameplay.
Nice! Glad to hear that it's turning out to be a good game after all of the development hiccups!
Only ten days between Dark Souls II and my life being gone. Though, that life was comprised of 75% Dark Souls anyway. ;)
My most anticipated March games are: Dark Souls II, MGSV: Ground Zeroes, Second Son, and South Park, in that order. What a FANTASTIC month for video games.
Why would anyone disagree with this? That's basically hoping for the game to be bad when it comes out, and it's ridiculous to think that anyone would want that.
What a generous prize!
Luckily, March isn't short on games to review and talk about. Should be plenty of great reviews and blogs to choose from! :D
Good luck to everyone who enters!
Too soon? Rocksteady's last Batman, Arkham City, came out in 2011. It's been 3 years... I could do with another, proper, Batman game. Origins didn't cut it.
It's good, but I've played better stealth games. Honestly, I would either rent it, wait for it to go on sale, or buy it used.
So far, Thief is good, but Dishonored is amazing.
I... I'm bad at reading? Yeah, that's a good excuse (actually just looked at the pretty pictures).
I have a feeling that this is a screenshot from the Deja-Vu Mission; if not, then I'll be surprised.
Either way, I'm looking forward to all that this game has to offer! :D
I mean that, personally, I enjoy some of the genres that the Wii U has to offer more on other platforms. All of those games you mentioned have games that exist on other platforms that are similar in genre, action, JRPG, racer, fighting, etc..
I should have clarified that it was personal preference, not just saying that other platforms do the games better.
Well, I have a 3DS, so I get my Zelda/Mario fix on that. I have a Vita, so P4G and Soul Sacrifice are my main JRPG's. I have a PS4, so multiple first party exclusives, plus a lot of third party developer support is in the works. I have a PS3, basically the same statement as the PS4, just that the support is already there. And I have a PC, so that library is basically immeasurable.
I'm in no way saying that the Wii U isn't worth someones money, because with games l...
I like pretty much every type of game. I just have other consoles already, PC, PS3, PS4, that do a lot of those games better. Don't get me wrong, I would buy a Wii U if I could, I just don't have the money right now. I think the games coming to the Wii U make it a console worth having, and experiences like Mario and Zelda are things that can only be found on Nintendo devices. Those are experiences I'd like to have, but only when it's reasonable within my budget.
This, Smash Bros., Zelda, and 3D Mario are what make me want a Wii U. I just don't have the cash to spend on a console that I'll only use for a few games per year. :/
My wallet is in physical and emotional pain.
Oh how I love MGS concept/hand drawn art. It's seriously so beautifully done.
I thought this wasn't due for release until 2015 at the earliest?
@devwan
I most certainly do not consider this a demo. I am actually quite looking forward to this game, and I think that it will be well worth my money, as will The Phantom Pain.
When it comes to gameplay, I completely agree with you.
