Glad to see the great nation of Canada loves Prof. Layton as much as I do.
I'm disappointed that there's no platinum for this, but I still plan on getting 100% regardless. Tuesday should be an interesting day.
I use it pretty often. Not for FPS's like BF4 or anything, but for less twitchy games like ACIV, Tomb Raider, and Resogun. :P
This is going to be phenomenal; can't wait to play inFamous anywhere in my house! Fantastic.
@moujahed
Yes, if you ordered it now, you could get it on the day it's released. Just select whatever shipping option it says under "Want to receive this the day it comes out?" If you have Prime, then it's free for release day delivery.
@moujahed
The physical copy now, in the US at least, is only $29.99. And I bought it with my Amazon Prime sub so it was $29.99 flat.
But I agree with the convenience of digital, but I'm a sucker for box art...
EDIT: Here's the Amazon link: http://tinyurl.com/llwyglc
I mean, unless you are just trying to go all digital or something, there's no reason to not get the physical copy now. Especially since both are the same price, minus sales tax of course.
I just recently bought Persona 3 FES and plan on starting it within the next month (all the games coming out in March have made it difficult to keep up). I'm really looking forward to playing it!
I don't think you'll regret buying a Vita for Golden; it's such a fantastic game with loads of replay value.
Yes! I am so glad that this is coming to the States! Such beautiful artwork, and I can definitely guarantee that I will be "reversing" my box art ASAP.
Hopefully, it's just a matter of optimization and understanding the system to produce these results. These things should come over time, like they did with the last generation of consoles.
Anyway, as long as games hold a consistent framerate of anything equal to or greater than 30, I'm fine with that. I just can't handle when games dive from 30 to 15, or 60 to 40 etc. That's when it's really noticeable and jarring.
I've only played the beta on PC and even with only that much experience with the game, I agree that it is hard to put down. I also fully agree with the graphical assessment. It is by no means a bad looking game, it just felt pretty average looking, even with 1080p, ultra settings.
Anyway, nice review!
The Earth rotates on a tilted axis around the sun, around the Milky Way. Surprise! /s
Dat cheesy music. I really didn't expect that music, especially considering the silent, somber opening.
Anyway, I am super excited for tomorrow! I'm ready to die... a lot.
Lol that's my only concern for this game as well. I doubt my current rig will be able to run this on high settings, and I'll be lucky if I can get a smooth framerate on medium. I plan on upgrading soon, but this game looks damn good...
Probably because this game looks cool as hell.
I'm glad you enjoyed the review!
It makes me wish that I could speak Japanese just so that I could get Persona 5 early, rather than waiting for it to come to the U.S.
But yes, I have faith that Persona 5 will surpass this as well. I'm currently going back and playing Persona 3 FES for the first time. Should hold me over for a while... still, 2015 is so far away. D':
Lol is that a term now? "Minecraft Killer"
OT: This game does look really interesting. Lovely art style.
The battery life is a little short... but luckily I got the Dualshock 4 Bundle on Amazon that came with 2 controllers. So if one's dying, I just switch over to the other.
Glad you enjoyed the review! P4G is up there with some of my favorite games of all time, and it's a mystery as to how I missed out on it during the PS2 era.
Persona 5 can't come soon enough! My expectations are incredibly high now, and I'm sure that Atlus will deliver another phenomenal experience.
It's clearly stated that the final score is not an average of the sub scores. People can enjoy games more than the sum of their parts, which seems to be the case here.
