A new car drives different from others. The same car with a new livery is still the same car.

Fortinite sells new cars or new liverys?

I'm not into Fortinite, so my question may sound a little dumb, but Epic is selling any item that give advantage to the players or they are just cosmetics?

But gamming, except for professionals, were created as a time waster.

Nothing new here.

Seems like the author didn't put the games in context. Some 90's campaings are objectively worse than a lot of average modern shooters. But, they were shocking when lauched.

Doom, Deus Ex, Duke Nuken 3D, System Shock 2, Quake and others were amazing for the time and must be represent on any list.

You're god damn right.

It really sucks when Nintendo fans take a game an made it more than it really is. OT is an average nostalgia trip as I am Setsuna or Lost Odyssey were.

Final Fantasy should stay looking front, even making mistakes, an not to the back.

So? In Brazil we're used to have Portuguese from Portugal for a long time. No problems with that.

But I think the whole point is to make this sound like some prejudice ou lack of care.

I'd understand this kind of article if there's a leak.

But these prediction based on nothing are pure garbage.

I'm not interested at all. For the target public it'll be fun, but as a married nintendo fan with no kids it's not for me.

Looking for traditional games.

Open world games are a trend of 8th generation. Every era had its own approach and a pletora of games with that approach.

3/4th gen - Platformers
5th gen - 3D Platformers and JRPGs
6th gen - 3D action games
7th gen - FPS
8th gen - Open world games

And technology has a crucial role on these trends, because it makes possible to achieve ideias that were impossible with the old tech.

Every generation of games/consoles has a genre that is used to exhaustion. 3th/4th gens had a pletora of platformes, 6th 3d action games, 7th fps, 8th open world games.

New technologies open new possibilities that are explored too much in the begining.

Nostalgia is a bitch. The momories of a simpler time really strike me sometimes. That afternoon, with no responsabilities, just playing games... Try to revive those moments is very powerful.

Nintendo didn't change. Thirdy party publishers are more supportive with those ports than they were with Wii U.

Valve is not a company with open capital, so buying them is up to the owners. It's harder and easier at the same time.
EA is a juggeraut but they have stock and a good offer could led to control the company. PUBG is like Mojang, a good acquisition but won't solve MS problems.

You know that there's something wrong when the author comes to comments.

At least from technical perspective they have already proved how good they are. Now, buy them, throw some artists there and let the magic happens.

I would buy a version from the console I have. All of them are great.

"It's already closing in on the lifetime sales of the console it replaced"

No. Switch came to replace both 3DS and Wii U. It needs to sell more units than both just to keep Nintendo at same.

Just a copycat.

If we are talking about 2D plaraforming, absolutely yes. Rayman Legends is already better than the New Super Mario Bros. Series.
