Overcooked!
Yeah.
Maybe it should be a refreshing 2d metroidvania platformer with pixel art caracter.
As PlayStation user this is great news. Borderlands servers on PS3 were shut off aftter GameSpy bankrupcy.
The landscape of gamming future rests on game as a service. It's worse for the custumers but a lot better for the corporations, so that's the way they go.
GaaS relies on net infrastructure and the broadest possible penetration. Companies with limited userbase cannot survive in this environment. And boy, this business is huge.
The traditional model isn't enough to sustain the growth that captalism needs. But the companies that are looking for ...
Smells like a aquisition for me.
It's always a good strategy for a studio or producer that have failed to delivery bring his next game to a Nintendo platform.
Nintendo fans are pretty vocalic and in exchange for a exclusive title they will relieve the defects.
Smart move Peter.
I remember Nintendo fans saying that MHW was bound to fail because it was skipping Nintendo hardware.
For me, one of the biggest problems of this generation is that the games are too long. I don't have time and sometimes patience to invest 60, 70 or even 100 hours in a game.
I understand that some people think that lenght is the same as value they paid, but I prefer to pay for something more condensed.
I think each one lifestyle matter in this decision.
People think I'm saying PS5 won't be compatible with PS4 games. It will. But the idea is different from BC from PS1 to PS2.
The compatibility will be similar to Android devices or Windows where you have an ecosystem. Newer hardware will support legacy software by default and not by BC. They want you to carry your PSN account over, and keep buying old games.
The concept of BC is obsolete. Every major game company works now with the idea of platform like Android and iOS have stabilished. I thought PlayStation 4 Pro and Xbox One X had make it clear.
Sony won't show PS5 as a BC console, but as a newer hardware for PlayStation owners. It'll have software that PS4 ans PS4 Pro can't handle, of course, but forget the idea of BC.
They don't care with joycons. These controllers aren't needed for the majority of the games. Joycons were a gimmick to sell the console first time.
This new version (that a lot of people were predicting since 2017) will be targeted to 3DS users, that play by themselves and want Pokémon.
Nintendo will just say that this new version can't play the games where joycons are mandatory and the fanbase will be okay with that.
It's not true. Battlefield V with ray traycing enabled is as demanding as Crysis was.
The premise is false. Most PC gamers can't run Battlefield V with ray traycing at good speed. The evolution is there, nobody is holding it.
This topic is older than my grandma.
I don't. I Just like to point stupid behavior.
I know. Nintendo fans are like you.
Nice. Another oportunity to buy the same game for the 4th time.
Nintendo, please, make it full price.
They are different. Second hand market is the biggest proof you need to undestand my point.
Nintendo fans are very similar to Apple fans. They will buy New Super Mario Bros U after a spam of only 5 years, paying 10 dollars more for an upgrade from HD to FHD.
Sony fans will buy 3 complete remastered Crash Bandicoot games after 18 years for 40 bucks.
Two completely different worlds.
They have no reason to apply a price cut. Nintendo fans will buy anything with Nintendo logo. They even bought remasters more expensive than the original release.
